I found Hotel Le Regent on the internet and what a lucky find it was. In fact, I liked the facility so much that I wasn't home a week that I booked another trip there! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly--don't fall for the "unfriendly Parisians" routine--it's, basically, no longer true at all. Everyone was kind and helpful--patient with...

10 days in Paris and loved staying at Hotel le Regent. We had booked another hotel close by, however on check-in I knew I would not be happy there so I walked about in search of a new hotel and stumbled upon the Le Regent. Once I visited the room and saw the bathroom I booked for 10 nights. Happily...

This boutique hotel has three key attributes: location, price and overall value. Located in the Saint Germain neighborhood, the hotel is nestled in a lovely neighborhood full of restaurants and trendy shops, is very close to the Seine and two blocks from the metro. While advertised as a mid-priced boutique, we found the pricing to be fair for what it...

Spent three nights pre-river cruise at this simply great boutique hotel in the St. Germain de Pris area. From the minute we arrived until we left, the staff, both day and night were simply fantastic. Our room #62 was small but had all of the conveniences we needed, which included a small balcony that we could sit outside and have...

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights (work and leisure) The hotel location in Rau Dauphine is just great, walking distance from Saint Michel-Notre Dome RER B stop (connecting to CDG in 40 min.) Altough not large, the rooms are very romantic. Bathroom very clean. I asked for a quiet room and the request was fulfilled (obviously, I expected...

I stayed in Hotel Le Regent in February during a solo trip to Paris. I was staying for 4 nights and didn't want to spend a lot, but knew I wanted to stay in the St. Germain/Latin Quarter area. This hotel fit the bill at just about $100/night. I look the RER from CDG (about 40 minutes) and instead of...

My husband and I spent one night here, on their 6th floor room with a little balcony. We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was tiny tiny tiny, but once we were seated on the balcony, overlooking St. Germain with a glass of wine, the size of the room didn't matter one bit. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
