Take the RER B to Denfert-Rochereau then Metro to La Motte-Picquet Grenelle. Take exit 3, Boulevard de Grenelle, the Hotel de L"Avre is literally 2 mins walk from the subway. It is all well signposted :-) Think the cost is 1.90 euros. Not sure how much a taxi would cost probably about 40-50 euros.
Bob Voyage :-)
