Small rooms, but that's to be expected in Paris. What was not expected was the amazing location, walking distance to everywhere and the extremely clean accommodations. The staff is friendly and helpful, even making dinner and cabaret reservations, and then changing them when my plans changed. I stayed here for work and would return in a flash for pleasure. There's...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Absolutely love this hotel. I was amazed by the beauty of Paris and with the comfort of a wonderful place to stay at night. My mother's room had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Everything I wanted was a walk or subway away. St. Germaine subway right around the corner and a Grocery store across the street. I could buy...

The hotel is simple but close to shops, restaurants, and the Musée d'Orsay and is between the Seine and the Luxembourg Gardens. The staff is very helpful and professional. The hotel offers very good value in a lovely but very expensive neighborhood.

Close (5 mins walk or less) to 3 metro stations and a couple of bus stops. Lots of places to eat & drink nearby. Safe area to walk around at night alone. I would...

I travel a lot and have gone to over 20 countries. I have stayed in tens of hotels. I’m not overdemanding. This one was one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at, considering its cost-benefit. It has two great qualities: it is VERY well located, in Quartier Latin, two steps from Boulevard St. Germain, close to metro stations (Mabillon...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
