HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Absolutely love this hotel. I was amazed by the beauty of Paris and with the comfort of a wonderful place to stay at night. My mother's room had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Everything I wanted was a walk or subway away. St. Germaine subway right around the corner and a Grocery store across the street. I could buy...

I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly if you are looking for a safe, comfortable place to sleep in an amazing neighborhood, and for a good value. Both the day and night managers were friendly, and helpful. They assisted me with taxi transport to the airport and helped me book a Seine dinner cruise since my French language skills are...

This hotel has a fantastic location and has very reasonable prices. The service by the desk staff was fantastic. The room was clean. Internet was very good. I think most (many?) hotel rooms in Paris are tiny and our room was that. However, the bathroom was very workable. The lift (elevator) is tiny, but there. The hotel does not have...

If you want to be surrounded by what makes Paris special, stay in the Welcome Hotel. It is right on one of the main streets in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. There are street musicians on the streets close by and there are great cafes and bakeries right around the corner. Plus a walk down rue de Seine takes you...

Welcome Hotel is located near two metro stops and within an easy walk to major Paris attractions such as the Louvre, Muse D'Orsay, and Notre Dame. Many of the staff understand English very well which was helpful to me because my French is so very limited. Rooms are small and typical of European hotels but well appointed.

Small rooms, but that's to be expected in Paris. What was not expected was the amazing location, walking distance to everywhere and the extremely clean accommodations. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
