We really enjoyed the coziness of this hotel. Good neighborhood and close to transportation, and Louvre. Excellent breakfast in bed, very Parisian. Would stay again. Front desk extremely helpful, and very kind.

Urgently needed a room at a hotel close to work due to a delayed meeting. Great and very helpfull staff at the reception. Room size OK for Paris, single room with bed of 1,2. Sufficient for my stay but perhaps insufficient for longer holiday stays. Very basic breakfast without extras, bit noisy overnight for streetview rooms but Im not a...

One of the best hotels in France. Very kind and profesional staff, breakfast other hotel facilities kept me enjoy my stay in Paris . All equipment are in operational condition comparing with other hotels in Paris. Especially hotel is situated close to city centre, trade centers, restaurants and etc. In short, I can say that, I will choose this hotel...

I chose this hotel primarily for the location and price. The Opera and the Louvre are in easy walking distance. I had no problem strolling to and around St. Germain as well. The best thing about the room were the old exposed beams in the ceiling which I had seen on a website and enticed me, but the rest of...

A cosy, little hotel with a good location. Easy to walk around Opera area and easy to get to subway or rent a bike (I defenately recommend!) and bike around the city sightseeing. Quite easily accesible from Charles de Gaulle airport by bus, train or subway. Quiet neighbourghood with a few restaurants and bakeries to get breakfast, if you don't...

Very no frills. Had a 5th room floor (51) which had access to a steel 'balcony' - as a smoker useful so I could smoke outside rather than leaning out of the window! Rooms very small - bed small but confortable. No A/C which is a definite minus during summer months. Small fan and door open was partly successful in...

This place gets you on location, but is not in the best neighborhood, nor is the price at all worth it. Just a few stops away you can stay at a Marriot and be more than happy and taken care of. The staff seems nice, and is perhaps the only redeeming quality.

We stayed in a triple room, with 2 twin beds together in the loft and one futon pull out. The beds were comfortable. The location provides easy access to the Metro as well as a few minutes walk to Palais Royale and the Louvre. Lots of shopping in the area, and the Opera House. There is some fabulous Japanese food...

My wife, a friend and I stayed in a triple room and it was perfect. There were 2 single beds next to each other in the loft area (up a spiral staircase) and a pullout bed in the main room. The beds were comfortable and clean. Our room did not have air conditioning but did have a fan which kept...

I chose this hotel due to the location and more reasonable prices for the area. The rooms are small (it is Paris afterall which means small rooms anywhere). Location was easy to get around. 3 metro stops within a easy walk. Short walk to many main sights. The hotel is situated in the Japanese/Asian district which means most restaurants in...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
