We stayed here last summer during the Bastille Day Celebration.
The location is amazing!! Very central to lots of things, we walked almost everywhere. The hotel is clean, they serve a very simple breakfast every morning which consists of fresh bread and toping of jam...More
Basic but characterful hotel in the centre of St Germain. Rooms at the front are noisy at night as you'd expect in this location but they offer great people watching as a consolation! Breakfast is served in the lobby on antique tables. Nice, friendly reception...More
We've stayed here a few times, with the same experiences every time.
The hotel is amazing value, and it's basic but quirky, with breakfast (tea/coffee/hot chocolate and all the baguette with butter/honey/jam you can eat) included.
The staff are always friendly and helpful too

As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

I would say the easiest way would depend on how many people are in your party. We are a family of five with three children and had lots of luggage so we used a minivan taxi. We traveled from the hotel to the airport and the hotel arrange a taxi for us. There is a company that they recommended and we went with that company. The cost of the ride was about €83 and the trip to look around 40 minutes.
