I'm writing this review at the airport because that's how frustrated I am. My wife and I spent our last 2 nights of our Paris honeymoon at this hotel because it was located in a wonderful area not knowing we would be leaving with bed bugs, room #42. Initially we thought it was from bugs outside but as we found...

We stayed at Hotel Saint Germain from 9/17-9/24/15 and had a great experience. Samon, hotel manager, was so helpful (offering restaurant suggestions, making reservations, printing maps, and calling for transportation), and he spoke fluent English. Our room was very small (typical of Europe), but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed a continental breakfast each morning,...

Saman and staff so considerate and made everything so easy. We stayed 5 nights and the last night was in a Jr Suite which we would book the whole time next trip. The location and block the hotel is on, many Parisians live around and many nice markets and cafes are a skip away. The museums and clothes shopping in...

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Saint Germain for 5 nights in August 2015. We booked this hotel mainly on the strength of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel Saint Germain was not specifically recommended by Fodors, Frommers, Rick Steves but should be! For now, it remains a hidden gem. Getting There We flew in to CDG and...

Very Clean, Helpful Staff, Good Location, Great Restaurants nearby. Short walk to Notre Dame, Metro, River, and sights of Paris. VERY nice Area to stay in, we felt very safe walking around in this area - more-so than other parts of Paris in the evening.

Saint Germain is what we in the U.S. Would call a boutique hotel: small, intimate & upscale. We arrived and were warmly greeted by Samon, the Concierge. Our room was small (double bed), nicely decorated with black/white French country toile wallpaper, matching drapes & bedding and a comfortable size white marble bathroom. Continental Breakfast (assorted French pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal,...

The hotel is situated on the left bank, just off Boulevard Saint Germain - a busy and intriguing area of Paris. The hotel is immaculately presented with bedrooms and public rooms very comfortably furnished. The street noise can be kept to a minimum by closing the double glazed windows and using the air conditioning as necessary. Breakfast is good and...

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner on our first trip to Paris and we weren't disappointed! The hotel didn't need to be great as it was just a place to use as a base, but it was such a lovely place it was hard to leave! The rooms are small, but so what? It has a comfortable bed, good...

This hotel is nearly perfect - rooms are a tad small and aren't that sound proof (we could hear a couple talking in the next room), but the service, location, value, etc. are stellar. Our room was on the first floor and was really pretty and spotless. The bed was the most comfortable we had in the 26 days we...
