We spent five days in Paris and stayed at Le Cardinal Hotel, room was small but the hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff was helpful, friendly and speaks English. Situated in great part of Paris short walk to the metro and in lively neigbourhod.

Great location in nice part of Montmartre. Easy walking distance to all the attractions in this area. Plenty of eateries to choose from. Friendly, helpful staff. Room very clean but tiny. Barely enough room for our luggage but ok for an overnight stay.

I spent several days in Paris and felt that the Cardinal was a good choice for me. Near Place de Clichy for metro, some good restaurants and bars around, quiet (which is important, if you ask me) and very helpful and reliable staff. Absolutely nice and I am looking forward to staying there again soon.

This hotel is situated in a great part of Paris. Close to cafe's and small shops. Short walk to the metro. On the main line to the tour bus. Starbucks just around the corner. Small rooms but clean and quiet. A great Bistro ' Le béguin' across the street. Breakfast was acceptable. The staff speaks English and was very helpful....

Room much bigger, smarter, cleaner, quieter, better-appointed than I had been expecting, given other TripAdvisor reviews and the central location of the hotel. Turn off the Rue de Clichy (5 mins walk from Metro station Place de Clichy), and all of a sudden you are in a different world: quiet; residential; boulangerie on the corner ... Hotel staff every bit...

Teaching for a Business School in Paris, I was hosted in that hotel. The staff is very kind and decent. Food is so-so. Rooms incredibly small. The area is lively, full of small shops and restaurants. A large public parking isn't far. Probably a place I'll soon forget

Le Cardinal is a decent hotel is a decent neighborhood of Paris. Unfortunately, for us, the bar next door was open until 2 in the morning (Sunday) on the Saturday night we stayed. Normally this would not be a big problem if you can keep your windows closed. The air conditioning in this hotel is configured so that if the...

The room was rather small, but clean. In total ok. The bed was very small for two persons. Breakfast was not ok. Lack off egg, bacon, ham and even cheese and baguette!!! some of the mornings. And we were not even late for breakfast. Had to buy my own cheese! Situation was good, close to the Metro. But anyhow I...

This hotel is great value for money. It is close to cafés, restaurants, underground stations or for a stroll into central, Paris. The rooms are large enough, the bed comfortable and the breakfast quite good. All of the staff are always friendly and helpful. Our only problem occurred with the shuttle bus they seed to transport us to the airport....

I chose this hotel because of its location and walked everywhere except when we went to Notre-Dame. We rented a family room which was extremely quiet and larger than I imagined it would be. The bathroom was also quite large and well appointed with a hairdryer and mirror. The room had air con, was clean, comfortable with a large flat...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
