I stayed here for three days for a meeting with a local university. My room (53) was very tight and the shower was almost too small for me to get inside. That said, this is my 5-6th trip to Paris, so this was expected. What I loved was the AC in the place that worked like a charm, you could... More

The rooms are quite small, as you might expect, but were clean and up to date. And you can't beat the location if you're interested in the Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Gardens, etc. (also walking distance to Notre Dame). Choice of small or larger continental breakfasts (about 5 vs. 9 Euros). The desk people spoke excellent English and were very polite... More

Third visit to this hotel. Just off Bvde St Michel, 5 mins walk Notre Dame. Smaller room this time but immaculate and everything you need. Staff very helpful - made bookings, printed vouchers - had just paid $15 for a phone call in London so really appreciated the personal attention we received here. Even recommended the best patisserie nearby and... More

My family really enjoyed staying here for 4 nights in late June. It is very near many sites (we walked to the Louvre and Notee Dame). Plenty of good food choices nearby. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was large and cleaned daily. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

We had a room on the top floor for 3 people. Nice bathroom upgrades. Convenient breakfast salon (9 euro for coffee/choc, croissant and bread, yogurt, fruit, or 5 euro for coffee/choc and croissant). Staff was super helpful with printing confirmations, recommending eateries, and making local phone calls when our US cell phone didn't work. Great location close to RER, Metro... More

What a delightful hotel! You should try to get one of the top floor rooms from where you can see the roofs of the neighbourhood and the Sorbonne, so beautiful! Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez stayed there while writing one of his best known novels. Not luxurious but you absolutely have all you need, and it is so so so... More

We always use this hotel when we visit Paris. It's very conveniently located in the 5th arrondissement and close to the RER station for Luxembourg, enabling an easy airport transfer. It's also very close to the Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame and the Pantheon. There are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes's walk. The rooms tend to be small... More

My second time in this nice hotel. Little but cosy. Near Sorbonne. Good connections everywhere - RER and METRO and BUS. Modern furniture. Nice helpful staff. Dull but good adjectives: warm, safe, clean, cosy. Value of money.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
