The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Hello, we stayed at this hotel last October. We took the metro from CDG to Cadet with transfer at gare du nord, then walked to the hotel. We bought the 10 pack metro tickets. But the ticket from CDG to gare du nord is separate. I think the cost is about $10 euro.
It took about an hour from the CDG to hotel including walking. We did not use taxi when we were in Paris.
