Back in Paris after a long time, this time with the kids in tow. I looked around long and hard to find something that didn't entail too many longs walks or rides that would dampen the young ones' enthusiasm. This hotel was perfect for us. Great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Pompidou and le Marais. We only...

Fabulous boutique hotel in a great area of the city. The owner and his team are incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable about Paris. Zoe and others at the front desk helped us with dinner reservations, points of interest, and other odds and ends. Very gracious. Regis and his team offer the most amazing cocktails, company and comfortable lounge to unwind...

Wonderful boutique hotel with very attentive staff! Neighborhood full of cafes and shopping! Breakfast was a nice array of croissants, cheese, fruit yogurt and eggs. The front desk folks were always full of great advice on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely return!

The Marais in Paris is our favorite place to stay and Jules & Jim, while on the fringes of the neighborhood, is an incredibly convenient place to stay if you're looking to be in the area. The design of the rooms and common areas is impeccable. The only negative is the room size, which we knew going in would be...

The hotel is ideally located, the design is great and there is a nice terrasse and a very nice bar. The downside is the size of the room ( I was in room 11) which is supposed to be a double room but which I wouldn't recommend for 2 persons especially with big bags.

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Paris and wanted a cool place to stay in the Marais. Jules & Jim hit the spot. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff are super friendly and speak English. There is a really cool cocktail bar in the middle of the courtyard. We stayed in room 81 which has a little terrace...

This is the perfect boutique hotel. You feel like you are in a flat but with services and amenities at your fingertips. The staff is cool and helpful. The restaurant serves breakfast in the morning (delicious) and opens as a bar in the evening. The location in Le Marais has everything walking distance and does not feel touristy. You can...

The hotel is new and updated (rainfall shower and crisp white linens) into a "pod hotel" concept. The rooms are well appointed with Molton Brown amenities. The bar is great for drinks or coffee and breakfast is also nicely set up in the space. The staff is REALLY nice and they are happy to help you with recommendations or other...

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the Marais. Modern yet cozy. Go for the Jules rooms - the Jim is quite small. Quiet, comfortable and charming. Excellent and attentive service. The bar in the hotel is quaint and lovely. Best place we've stayed yet in Paris. Emeric and Matthieu took care of everything!! Highly recommend!!

J'dore this hotel. Best place in Paris. Super trendy but not snobby, very relaxed and impeccably maintained. The bar offers a wonderful breakfast and the staff could not be friendlier. Located near 2 metro stops a 10 minute walk to the Picasso museum. Absolutely incredible! I was super impressed one morning whilst eating breakfast when a French woman was interviewing...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
