Found the hotel easily after leaving the metro at Pigale. Two blocks down from the main street on a typical Parisienne street. Cannot fault the location or the area. We were welcomed by a very pleasant Bernard when we checked in and had a double room on the 4th floor overlooking a courtyard to the rear of the hotel. Comfy...

Booked this hotel as part of a package and had breakfast included. I would not have paid the price they were asking for breakfast but it was a great inclusion. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room small and somewhat clean. Housekeeping service great with clean linens and towels everyday. The shower was a bit challenging as it did...

I visited Paris with my school and I have to say it was one of the greatest weeks of my life. The hotel was really close to loads of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets and metro stations, which was really useful considering we were out of the hotel all day. I stayed in a triple room, which was nice, but seemed...

He said that hot water is only available during breakfast time until 10 am. I needed the boiling water for my herbal medication and when complaint at check out about poor service,...

I was staying in a triple room, which was quite wide.. We stayed on the first floor, which was a big mistake. We could't sleep because of the noise at night... If you stay here, never never choose the first floor. The continental breakfast was OK. Hotel is in a walk distance from Opera Garnier. Pigalle Metro station is also in...

Stayed here for a week last summer, having never visited Paris before I can't wait to go again! We were welcomed into the hotel, it's in a great location and the employees are so helpful. There is always someone on reception and when we first arrived we were given a map and the public transport explained to us. We only...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
