Good hotel for location, price and spring break - value for money, breakfast more than adequate, rooms clean but dated, many rooms are on several high floors, lift available, nearby metro and choice of restaurants, within walking distance of Opera - centre of Paris

Of course this is not a A ranked hotel, but it's clean, classic-designed, has enough facilities. And we were also very thankful to the staff for being helpful to book seats for Moulin Rouge, show us nice bars and clubs and everything else. So I would say I liked this hotel.

The hotel is small and the rooms too. You pay for wifi axcess which is a minus. Likewise is payment for a safety box. That made me sulk at first but the positive things took over. We hot extra pillows at once and so on.

I always stay in this hotel when I am in Paris. The location is convenient, close to Gar de Nord, Metro Cadet is two minutes away making the access to other parts of Paris quick and easy. The rooms are quiet, clean and the staff is always polite and helpful. There are restaurants, shops and Galeries Lafayette is 10 minutes away.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
