The hotel is very nice and up to date! Don't let the small room fool you it is completely renovated and the bathrooms are large and gorgeous! An amazing location in St Germain within walking distance of all the shops and delicious restaurants. Would definitely go back!

We spent two nights at Hotel Baume, and enjoyed our stay very much. The art deco hotel is very nicely outfitted, with beautiful linens and very nice details throughout. The staff was very helpful, especially Valentine, who spoke to us the day before we arrived, gave us good advice about getting from CDG to the hotel, and even reassured us...

Very nice, clean and cosy hotel. Staff bery friendly and super helpful. You can count on them if you didn't find time to book yourself a table for dinner in advance. We traveled with a baby girl infant which was not a problem although room was a bit tiny.

It's a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Great location on a quiet street, away from drunken crowds and yet in walking distance to everything. Very close to Odeon theatre, which you can literally see from the hotel window; a dozen or so restaurants and cafes, Blvd St Germaine, metro, etc. For trips that are further you can always use...

This was a great hotel to stay in. In Paris - don't expect big rooms; the differentiator is how well appointed they are, the service and the noise. This ticks the box on all fronts (especially on the low noise levels) and is in a great location to boot. Take your joggers for a Sunday morning sprint around les Jardins...

The Hotel Baume is spectacular. I spent a lot of time planning our trip to Paris, because we might only be able to go there once, and I couldn't have found a better place to stay. The hotel is on a small street near the Odeon, in a charming St. Germaine neighborhood. The room I chose was on the top...

How pleasantly I was surprised to find my fairly last minute plan to stay at Hotel Baume turned out to be a great choice! The boutique hotel was fairly recently updated and the Art Moderne style very Parisian. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating to my requests! It's intimate, charming and a five minute walk to Luxembourg Gardens!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
