I was looking for a nice and a bit out of the ordinary hotel with a spa. I found Le Singulier and thought it was just perfect. A room was booked via the hotel website. When enquiring on the earliest check-in time I was being told that the spa has been out of order since december 2014. I was able...

I spent a few nights in this hotel in early September. The neighborhood is central and close to metro stations, from where you can reach any areas of the city; Eiffel Tower is just a 15 minute walk. Excellent and friendly staff, clean and quiet room. Great Wi-Fi An overall very good experience.

We booked Le Singulier last minute after a horrific AirBnB experience and thought we were lucky to have randomly chosen Le Singulier based on very good reviews. We must say we were not disappointed. Le Singulier is a lovely small boutique hotel with very comfortable bedrooms, quality bedding, nice staff, (super) quality breakfast (croissants clearly have lot of butter in...

Or, what I imagined a quintessential Parisian hotel to be, as this was my first visit to Paris! A small, 8 room hotel, run by a lovely family, very hands on in the day to day operations of the hotel. No task was too great, Alecia, the wonderful daughter of this family, is there daily, always wanting to help, anticipating...

My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon in Paris and chose Le Singulier to be our hotel and we could not be happier. From the first greeting by the owner Alecia to our last day, we felt at home. This hotel is family owned and that's what makes it charming. Our room was the Amorena (can't remember name) but...

We stayed at Le Singulier for six nights and had a fabulous experience. This was a fantastic place to stay for our first visit to Paris. Our beautiful room which was immaculately kept and the hotel offers a really nice breakfast starting at 7:00 AM, which we really appreciated, as we are early birds. The decor is fascinating and we...

Each person who worked the reception was very friendly, incredibly helpful and just genuinely nice. I had the indigo room which was quite small but it is exactly as it appears in their website photos so I knew what to expect. I slept quite well as the bed was very comfortable, and I didn't hear street noise or noise from...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.

“One thing to note: the beds are very good ones, but quite firm. Since one of us has joint issues, we mentioned the firmness being too hard and they immediately put an extra quilt on under the bottom sheet, which took care of the problem.”
