The hotel was in quite a quiet location, it might be more out of the centre of Paris but it was easily reachable via metro and it gave our stay more of a local aspect. The staff were friendly and room was nicer than we expected for the price. Boulangerie Gana Duhesme was a fantastic bakery around the corner too!

Cannot fault this place at all, from arrival quite late in the evening, the gentleman on reception was so helpful and such a help to us with answers to questions re getting to and from certain places. The lady during the day was also amazing, kind and just a great help. The hotel was clean, breakfast was sufficient and just totally faultless.

Stayed here during the Rugby World Cup.
Good location for the nearest Metro station which is a short walk away. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.
However, the hotel is on a busy road so it can be noisy. It would be nice to open the window to let in some fresh air but not possible here.
I had sent an email to the Hotel over 8 months prior to our stay requesting a room on a higher floor. We were given a room on the first floor!! Disappointed with that.
Our twin room was very small (maybe that is common in Paris). Lack of storage space was an issue The twin room would really suit one guest only.
The breakfast is continental with no hot options available. Limited choice. Machine coffee only.
Woken up at 3am one morning by someone banging on the front door (signs to say that staff are available to allow access anytime).
It is generally noisy and you could hear various sounds coming from the rooms above.
We arrived after an early morning flight and we were informed that we couldn’t check in until 3pm. Receptionist didn’t ask for our room number to check if it was ready so had no choice but to walk around for a few hours instead of catching up on some sleep and feeling refreshed for the evening.
Wouldn’t stay here again if revisiting Paris.

Airport to hotel ….. we bought a weekly pass at the airport not the easiest thing to do you will need to take a pic in the photo booth 8€ each then the pass is 55.60€ for 2 getting to the hotel is about a good hour away we tried the train and metro then got the taxi when we got closer ,

Hotel ….

Small rooms
Paper cups
Dusty shelves
Free Wi-Fi
Helpful reception staff
Not so comfy beds
Room service available every day
Didn’t try breakfast as so many nice places to grab a cafe etc
We were in room 102 never have I heard noise like it people partying till after 2am across the road every night, bus stop bang under your window , the area is a good location to get to most attractions at the jeffron metro which is left out of the hotel

We walked to the Tower from the hotel 1hr ish , the red light distract has the moulin rouge and some Irish bars

Delightful restaurants and cafe all near by

Taxi back to airport around 65€

The Sumet of the tower closed for building works

The boat cruise is very nice

Notra Dame under building works so you can’t get close but can see the beauty

The Louvre and gardens are amazing we went down there and did a spot of sunbathing chairs all available down there just stunning

Shops are amazing 🤩

Overall what a beautiful place Paris is the hotel is a budget hotel and ok for getting your head down but stay away from the front rooms

Dear Renlunaben5, thank you for taking the time to write to us, regarding all the information we have been able to take note of and do the necessary. All information is given and can be seen with the receptionists on site. The wifi is a secure access that asks you to validate the data once password inserted, in case this one is not done it cuts the connection in a time. Concerning the cab, as explained when you make an order in advance that this one charges you a minimum of 7 €, and the cab can also turn its meter, we somms unfortunately independent of that but can make claims. Thank you to all our customers to contact us at once so that we can do what is necessary. Thank you for your understanding Sincerely

I have been to the hotel many times with my tour group. Mostly satisfied with the food except that there was a fly in the salad dressing on a previous occasion. Sunday's lunch was not up to standard. We had to wait exceedingly long for our food and after having ordered a Lamb pie we were given a Pork pie. The pork pie was eventually replaced with a lamb pie. We had to ask for more knives and forks. We were twelve guests at the table but were only given six knives and forks. We had to ask for a salad dressing for our salads. We asked for Ice with our drink and only got ice when the drink was almost finished and after we asked the manager for ice again. We ordered a cream soda float, and no spoon was given to scoop the Ice cream from the glass. Just a straw. When we went to pay the bill, we were overcharged. I'm not sure how this could have happened because there were only three items on the bill. I had to ask for a refund. The service was sub-standard. We will never go there again.

The room is so small you can barely get your suitcase opened. The air con didn’t work and we were given a fan instead which did nothing. Barely slept in 3 days and the woman at reception didn’t seem to care. The room ws actually so small that the bed had to be pushed in to the wall and the bed is only big enough for one person. I asked to be moved rooms and the receptionist said all rooms were the same size and no air con was working? Not really good enough in 30 degree heat. Their photos of the rooms are extremely misleading. The only good things about the hotel were cleanliness as rooms were cleaned everyday and the location was nice, however, I would avoid

Hotel is situated at the bottom of the hill behind the Sacrè-Coeur, well away from the tourist area and in a lively neighbourhood with loads of bars and restaurants and within a 5 minute walk to the Metro. It is quite a steep, but enjoyable walk, up many flights of steps, to the Sacrè-Coeur.
The hotel was clean and modern. The room was fairly small but more than adequate, great shower. Breakfast was basic, boiled eggs, cheese, bread, pastries etc. but relaxed and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I thought this was a decent hotel in a good location for the price we paid.

Good hotel, well located in the Northern side or Paris, some 20 min by metro from Gare du Nord (for airport transfer), and at the same time in the heart of famous Montmartre quarter ... the place so many artists, old and new.
The hotel is rather modern, with good facilities.
Rooms are a bit small (like almost all in Paris), but very clean, with good internet access, toiletries, tea&coffee.
Good French breakfast.
Helpful personnel.
Price is good for the value one gets.

There’s WiFi all through the hotel. The breakfast is really good, providing both salty and sweet. It’s 1 km walking distance (less than a mile) from Montmartre. To go to the Eiffel Tower you will need to take metro. A bus stop is just in front of the hotel, should you need it to reach Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysées. Rooms come with AC and all the main facilities. Don’t expect enormous rooms for it’s Parisian standard both for medium-range hotels and private house. Given all that, the price you will pay will be convenient. Better if you book through the hotel website.

What is the best way to get to this hotel from Charles de Gaulle airport?
Answer from marco d
Rome, Italy706 contributions291 helpful votes
The fastest way to get there is by taxi, of course (about € 40,- from CDG airport); otherwise, take train RER B and step off at Gre di Nord; change there for line 4 direction Porte de Clignancourt and step off either at Marcadet Poissonnier or Simplon. The hotel is less than a mile from both stations, maybe Simplon is a better choice. The closest station is Jules Joffrin but you have to change at Marcadet Poissonnier for just one station and I think it’s a bit uncomfortable if you have luggage with you as most of the stations in Paris have no elevator/escalator. Anyway the hotel is a very good choice. Enjoy Paris!

Our rooms were 2 completely separate rooms opposite one another, both requiring separate keys, I travelled with my older teenagers, so this was not a Problem. However I did book what I thought was interconnected rooms. I would of been very concerned with younger children.
