We had a second floor courtyard room, quiet spacious, beautifully furnished and nice old fashioned bath room. You feel quickly at home with the welcoming atmosphere, there is a nice bar and a pretty tea room. The staff is wonderful.

The hotel is ideally located near one of Paris' most charming parks and, at the same time, borders the bustling St Germain district where shops and restaurants abound. This is the Left Bank at its best.

We passed by this place in June of this year and it was so pretty that we went inside and checked it out. We were staying in another place which was cramped and not so great. When we came back this November, we stayed here for 1 night and it was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, cute little... More

Hotel Luxembourg Parc is centrally located within walking distance (we consider 2-3 miles a pleasant stroll) of virtually all of the iconic tourist attractions in Paris, as well as the off the beaten track neighborhoods such as those in the 10th (Saint Martin Canal) and 20th (Père Lachaise Cemetery) Arrondissements. Rooms were as advertised and as others have described, we... More

We stayed at the Hotel Luxembourg Parc in November, on a combination business/pleasure trip. The hotel itself is small, but has a variety of room styles and sizes. We learned that as the front desk/concierge, Charles, walked us through several of them until we found one that we both liked. A request for a high floor/quiet room resulted in a... More

We have stayed at several small upscale hotels in the sixieme arrondisement but definitely like this the best. We upgraded to their better level of room which we like. The rooms on the "garden " side are very quiet whereas there is a lot of traffic on rue Vaugirard. The staff at the desk is very helpful and knowledgeable and... More

How this wonderful boutique hotel EVER gets a rating less than 5 is beyond us. Checked all our boxes for hotel in big city. Small. Classy. Great Location. Staff. Did I mention staff. Lidia, Charles, Christian and others led by the manageress par excellent, the dear wonderful Fabian. One example of the many things she/they did for us. Needed a... More

My husband and I stayed for a weekend September 30- October 2 before leaving for a tour through France. This is a small hotel in what I consider a perfect location--next to the Luxembourg Gardens. But location aside, the hotel itself was perfect for me. Small enough to feel intimate but offered "big hotel" service-little fitness room, cozy bar, a... More

I stayed here in September with my 2 adult children. The location is absolutely perfect! Right off the main shopping area in St. Germain, around the corner from St. Sulpice Church, and across the street from the Luxembourg Parc. We walked everywhere and this hotel made that possible. It's on a quiet street and it's very charming. They also offer... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
