We stayed for one night. We live in the area but needed a hotel room for one night due to family staying. The hotel is in a great part of the city, it's nicely decorated in a modern style in an historic building. The room and bed were comfortable, but the room and ensuite were a little compact. Although that's pretty... More

This 23-room hotel on a small street is on the northern edge of The Marais, but still within easy walking distance of many of the tourist attractions. The room is a typical European size. Modern bathroom. There are plenty of bistros and restaurants nearby frequented by locals so you don't feel like you are in a tourist trap. Breakfast is... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on business. The hotel was very average with small room. Rooms were very expensive. Bed was comfortable and the room clean. The hotel is in a busy area therefore it is so noisy all the time. I don't think I even slept for those 2 nights. Also, the walls are so thin,... More

A simple but very pleasant hotel convenient for the river, Notre Dame and restaurants. The rooms were not overly large but adequate and well decorated with excellent bathroom facilities and comfortable beds. There was also a room safe. The staff were helpful and friendly. A good place to stay at a reasonable price.

Like the heading says it's clean, location is good but our room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. I believe it was room 204. Two twin beds stuck together barely enough room for our two suitcases, I bumped off everything in the bathroom and I'm not that big. Not bad but if you want a little space... More

We loved the Hotel Molay! The hosts were always friendly and helpful to give restaurant and shopping recommendations and were very accommodating to us. We are a lesbian couple and found that no one blinked an eye, we were just guests! The room was gorgeous, clean, and romantic with balconies and tons of natural light. The bed was soooo comfortable... More

I stayed alone in this hotel about 5 years ago and found it to be charming. The location is excellent. When I returned in Sept 2016, I stayed here for 1 night. I would request a larger room the next time as the space was rather small for 2 people. It's still charming , comfortable and clean.

My second time in this hotel. Very friendly staff. Small but cosy and clean room and bathroom. Small gym. Breakfast available but did not try. Location perfect for a city trip. Free wifi. Will be back.

Room and bathroom small but not tiny- very comfortable and modern. The bed was huge and very comfy. Staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location to explore Paris with lots of cafés and restaurants around.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
