Room was large enough and Lady in the reception was very friendly and helpful when i arrived just before her day / afternoon shift was going to finish.
They have the smallest elevator I have ever seen, 2 people can fit in, barely. But rooms are simple and comfortable.
Nearby, plenty of restaurants and shops.

This hotel was convenient and pretty clean overall. We were welcomed by the desk clerk and given some solid information for the city. The room was recently renovated and had a nice view of the street. Overall, it was worth it for the price.

I would have given it five stars if not for the following incident. At 11:30pm, the room telephone rang several times, waking me up from a sound sleep. The desk clerk asked me if I had been to the restaurant below and when I said no, he asked again. Apparently, someone didn't pay their bill and they were trying to track down the person who skipped out. I feel like this question could have best been asked during checkout and not at 11:30pm. When I mentioned it the next morning, the desk clerk seemed to think that was a normal practice and not such a big deal. I will forever disagree.

This hotel dealt with the enforced "Corona lockdown" cancellation of our booking in a very kind and professional manner - they agreed immediately that we should be refunded and they told Trip Advisor that. So 5 stars to the hotel for that!
Trip Advisor/Cancelon replied by email telling us how good they are with such refunds.
BUT 5 emails later, Trip Advisor has not refunded our payment and no longer replies.
They gave a contact number for refund service but that number is "cancelled".
Is their agent "Cancelon" a SCAM??
Our Reservation Confirmation number is 1206584.
Let's see if Trip Advisor does anything with that reservation information or if they just delete our post again!!!
Do NOT book through Trip Advisor!!

This place was dump. I echo the sentiments of the previous review! I wish I had read this review before I booked. The make this false claim that they give 100 percent satisfaction but its only for websites, worst customer service..rude, ugly, french basically….I still haven’t heard back from the manager or owner after writing them ….Do yourself a favor pay a bit more and go to a nicer reputable hotel chain..Astotel charges the same but is far superior in customer service, quality of the hotel, staff and amenities

Small dirty rooms, loud/obnoxius and terrible location..on the corner of Clichy with people hanging out. The manager was an idiot! he doesn’t like foreigners and will give you a room based on his prejuduces. They dump linen bags all over the floor so you trip over them

I wasn’t given the room I requested, it was tiny above the office/restaurant with a loud fan BUT worst of all is it is a non smoking hotel and the staff smokes everywhere and under my window…disgraceful hotelno air….they are .awful don’t believe the other positive reviews they are not truthful……the manager won’t t respond to my email but they will go on review websites and make themselves sound professional when they are just the opposite

Sir, We are sorry to read your comment. Nevertheless, we have already explained to you directly then to your travel agency, then on social networks that your remarks are absolutely false and simply follow your desire not to pay for your stay. Freely insulting our teams and lying in this way to smear and destroy honest workers is simply malicious. We would have really and sincerely hoped to find a compromise with you, but it is unfortunately with regret that we note that despite all our efforts, you remain on your impression. We are sorry for this. Nevertheless, we wish you a great summer and hope that you will find the perfect hotel for your future stays. Sincerely, Marianne - Reception Manager

Location is more Place de Clichy than Montmartre, but close to Metro and bus.

Room was very very small and the window was facing a tiny cement court with very smelly air and a very loud fan from the restaurant in the ground floor. So opening the window was not an option. And it was even loud when the window was closed.
AC didn't work for 2 days, even though fixing was promised the first day.

No housekeeping "due to covid".

Strange brown stains on the walls in the bathroom.

Reception area is hidden under the staircase, main door is often blocked by students.

Tables in the Breakfastroom don't get cleared until breakfast time is over, even when all the tables are covered with plates and rubbish. Looking at older comments here this has been the case for years.

Supposedly the owner seems genuinely helpful and interested in the satisfaction of the customers.

So all in all, while I know that Paris is expensive and that rooms are small, this hotel is way overpriced for the below average quality.

Typical Parisian hotel…room was small (enough for the 2 of us) but clean with a comfortable bed. Nice, peace and quiet. Elevator was tiny with only 1 person at a time for use. So we ended up taking the stairs. We got breakfast included in the room. Good choice of nice Parisian style breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly. We’ve arrived very late and check-in staff was super friendly and helpful! Location near shops, cafes and restaurants and also Metro station just across the road. So it was a breeze for us to go around Paris from that point.

Unfortunately, I can only give this hotel 3 stars as it is quite basic .
However, it is spotlessly clean and the staff super helpful.
The room was small but adequate , the bed very comfortable (double)
It is situated very close to the metro which is very handy.
Thank you to all the staff for being so lovely , it is much appreciated.

It was okayyyyy. I mean the location was fantastic though. Close to Gare du Nord and the bus stops/metro etc. The hotel manager (not sure if he’s the manager? Greyish hair, glasses) was lovely! Very nice to us. The lift was tiiiiinnnyyy haha, and so was our room! I was expecting this as it’s usually the case in Paris but it was so small. I wouldn’t mind staying here again but next time we will definitely go for the biggest room they have. Our window faced a wall so not really any fresh air so yeah, definitely will go for an upgrade next time. Me and my husband enjoyed breakfast, it was a good selection and we were full at the end of it. Only annoyance was that the air con in our room was not working! Had to ask a few times before staff sorted it for us, then we realised it’s controlled somewhere else?? Which isn’t great. Anyway, we will be back one day soon.

Dear Miss9TLDN, Thank you for sharing your review via Trip Advisor. Our best reward is to know that despite the atypical nature of our Parisian hotel: You will come back to us: It's very, very nice. Spotless rooms recently renovated. Small but bright and comfortable. Room at back was very quiet. Linens and towels of high quality and comfortable bed. Staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast buffet had ca good range of choice. Location was perfect with easy access to different metros and wonderful neighborhood cafes. Looking forward to staying here again.

After checking in, we left our luggage in the room before going for dinner. Upon return we reported the incident to the staff and they went to check - before making clear of things, the staff told us that it is easy to have our luggage picked (we didn’t ask) and claimed that IT IS VERY COMMON IN PARIS. They were unable to identify who entered our room and could not check the CCTV until next week (ridiculous!). The least that any service provider can do is to show empathy for unfortunate situations - instead the staff said that she does not like my brother’s eyes(racist!) and threatened to use his passport details for the police - she said the police will help her because she felt stress “you are a man, I am a woman, I’m French and I’m pregnant, if anything happens, I have your passport details and address.” All these happened as she smiled to the CCTV with 2 male staff by her side. This does not look right at all. We left immediately for fear of our safety and they did not even want to refund us. Shame on bringing such experience to tourists. Do not recommend for anyone to stay here.

Hi! Dows anybody know, how much cost taxi from Orly airporr to the hotel? Does hotel offer any shuttles?
Answer from Alize_Montmartre
Paris, France
Dear Sabina, Thank you for contacting our hotel about your stay in Paris. We work with a shuttle company but they provide only transfer from our Hotel to Airport. For the taxi, they have fixed prices from Airport to Paris (price is 39€ from Orly and 55€ from Charles de Gaulle). You can also take the train to arrive at the hotel. We remain at your disposal, if you need any more information, and we are looking forward welcoming you.

Depending on how fit you are, but the bus stop is close. Reasonably close, but again the bus is the best way to get around.

Answer from Alize_Montmartre

The check in time is 14h00, and the check out time is 12h00. The hotel can keep your luggage, if you arrive earlier, and also on the day of your check out.

The balcony off room 55 is the biggest but you can only take 2 chairs out onto it, there are no chairs or table provided. We used the ones in the room. It's a lovely corner view.
