Stayed for 5 nights in the second week of October. The room: TINY double room with old carpets, old headboard, painted walls, a dresser, mini fridge, small TV (only found local channels in french), mattress and pillows were too soft but to be honest we were so tired from walking all day, it didn't affect our sleep. Aircon/heater worked fine....

You could not possible want a better location for your stay in Paris. Rue Saint andre des Arts is centrally located to the metro, shops, restaurants, the Seine, Notre Dame etc., etc. The room was small - but we were only ever there to sleep so have no complaints. the bathroom was newly fitted out and very clean. All the...

I was looking forward to this hotel based on the reviews here on TA, but was a little disappointed. Staff were great from the moment I booked, to letting me know my CC was not authorizing (had to call the CC company to let them know to expect foreign charges). Anyway, the location is perfect. rue St Andre des Arts...

Wonderful 2-stars hotel in Paris, in the heart of St. Michel with its living nightlife and restaurants/creperies and within a 5 min walk from Notre-Dame and aroundissements. Actually you can walk everywhere from Eugénie. Best located hotel ever, 1 (one) min walk from metro station St. Michel (be sure to get the exit to Place St. André des Arts, otherwise...

Hotel location is very good for visiting all monuments on foot or by metro (less than 200m from hotel). It was easy to connect to airport CDG using RER, despite St-Michel RER station access was closed and relocated to Cluny Sorbonne metro station for construction works. Personnel was generally nice. Maid was extremely nice. Bathroom has been renovated. I like...

If you want to be based in the Latin area, this hotel is a good clean well priced (for the area) option. +ves - well located in the Latin area - clean - the airconditioning worked well (which is good for summer in Paris) -ves - Rooms & bathrooms are small on the 4th floor (top) with sloping roofs so...

Just back from a 4 night stay in Hotel Eugenie. We arrived before 12noon and it was no problem putting our luggage into the luggage room as we were too early to check in and similarly we left our luggage in the luggage room on the day of our departure as our flight wasn't until 10pm and it was absolutely...

I work as a consultant and have to work 2-3 days per week in Paris. I tried a couple of hotels (most more expensive) before I found this hotel. While I was initially a bit worried about the two star rating, I was very happy with my choice: the hotel is just renovated (I think max 1-2 years ago), with...

I have been to Paris on 3 previous ocassions and this has been the best value hotel by far! The location is incredible: 1 minute walk from St Michel Metro (on a central line for all the Paris tourist attaction), the hotel is set back on a side street filled with shops, bars and cafes. The rooms are typically smallish...

Spent 3 nights at Hotel Eugenie. Took train in from Orly and stop is perhaps a block from hotel. Once there, we walked everywhere: to museums, through sidestreets, to other sightseeing areas. Many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and small shops nearby. I would heartily recommend the hotel.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
