I booked two rooms and stayed here two weekends a go. We were only in Paris for 1 night so wanted a cheap hotel but central. The hotel is in a good location, Under 5minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The rooms do remind me of school dorms though. The hotel lobby was very clean, wifi was decent, although...

This is more like dormitory. Rooms are small. Wash basin is inside the room. The toilet do not have any lock. They don't even provide any basic amenities like coffee machine. The shower door do not close properly leaking water in entire bedroom. Far from main attractions.

I feel comfortable stay and the best part of this hotel is the staff which is too friendly . . . . . The location is also good since it's close to Metro and connects through out . . . There are nice restaurants around and cafes too and underneath you have big carrefour

This used to be one of the budget Accor hotels, and is a great option if you are looking for a budget stay! Clean, compact room for a great price. I would definetely recommend staying here, instead of having a shabby hotel in the center for the same price. And there are great budget eats nearby, try La Bastringue for...

- parking Garage (limited number of lots) - next to large Carrefour Supermarket - 10 minutes from Bvd. Périphérique (Porte de Pantin), 200 metres from metro Laumière (line 5) - simple, clean, okay for 1-3 nights

It is near the metro station Laumiere walking about 5 minutes. It is also great that it is also closed to the city store that is convinient. Though it is far to the downtown but it is reasonable to pay with thhis price.

A year ago I visited Paris for a week and I stayed at this Ibis Budget. I returned to Paris this year (2017) and returned to the Ibis Budget. Again I found the Ibis Budget to be satisfactory. The immediate neighborhood has improved with the opening of a new Carrefour next door to the Ibis. In addition I got (by...

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
