My husband and I stayed there for four nights in August last year (2016) and we had a great time (it's in the Quartier Latin, after all!!!). I loved the (literary?) texts on the carpets on the hallways! It was a lovely detail and made me smile anytime I left or returned to the hotel. The entire staff is professional,...

Stayed for 3 nights March 5th - 8th 2017. Booked a classic double but on arrival we were pleased to be informed we had been upgraded to a superior room. The room was really comfortable, modern and clean. We had breakfast included in our package which was very enjoyable. The hotel's location was great, down a pretty, quiet street 2...

Stayed there for three nights and amazed at location. Room small but perfectly appointed and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend and will stay there again. Three metro stops very close by and musee de Cluny 200 metres. Notre dame two minute walk.

Strategically located in front of La Sorbonne university, this charming hotel offers everything one can need to feel like at home. Rooms are may be too little even for 2 but they are so beautiful that you can forget the fact of the size. Staff is very friendly. Two things to improve, breakfast is too expensive (for 14 euros you...

This little hotel has tons of modern charm. It is in old building right next to the Sorbonne in a great part of town right off of main streets with amazing cafes and very close to the subway system. The hotel itself has small rooms (although not bad for Paris). The bathroom was modern and clean and the shower nice....

First I must say that the rooms are really very small. In the regular room, the only space you have in the room is the litte area around the bed that allow you to move around. There is no empty space in the floor where you could open a smal luggage. If you don't mind the space, this is a...

I liked this hotel, however the rooms are much smaller then other Paris hotels I've stayed at. I wanted to change but they wouldn't accommodate. It is still a quaint cute little place. Just know that you will be in a small room.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
