The location of this hotel can't be beat. Two short blocks to the metro, easy walking to the Louvre, D'Orsay. And the price was quite reasonable. The room was immaculate, decorated in a lovely french style, very comfortable bed. However, we had the least expensive room and it was tiny. Still, we managed and were very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

A lovely hotel, close to metro station and just across the river from the louvre. Our room was beautifully decorated with a great en suite. The room was small, but this was not a Problem. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and plenty of wardrobe space. The staff were very helpful and friendly, must give Patricia a special mention, nothing too much...

Rooms being the most important aspect of a hotel stay, I will start with that. They were clean, well lit and comfortable, with each room a little different from the other (we were a group that booked 5 rooms, so we got a good chance to see each type of room). Small gripes include the fact that though bathrobes and...

Hotel is 5 mins from Metro station and easy to walk to many of the sights. The hotel is attractive and beautifully decorated in Parisian style, not your usual commercial decor that large hotels adopt. The reception staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, always cheerful. We had a special surprise for our son and partner and the staff were a huge...

Close to so many wonderful sites this hotel is perfect for a short stay. The rooms are a little on the smaller side but very nice. The staff is lovely, very helpful, friendly and we had many nice little conversations on the front desk. We can highly recommend it.

We stayed here for a few days in March. We found the reception and to be incredibly friendly. The rooms are small but well appointed and very comfortable as well as very quiet at night. Hotel is convenient & easily accessible by the metro and the nightly rate is very reasonable. I've already recommended to others.

The hotel is in nice neighbourhood. 1 minute walk to Blvd Saint Germain and less than 10 minutes walk to Louvre. It is newly renovated. Rooms are smaller but stylish and cosy, beddings very comfortable. And I appreciate hotel staff who is always cordial and friendly. My best regards to Irene and Patricia :-) CZECH: Hotel je na skvělém místě....

Management response:

Dear Sir, Thank you for your feedback on tripadvisor. Our customer satisfaction is very important and your comment needs explanation. As mentioned upon reservation, the check-out time is 12:00. At 12:15 the reception called you in the room to organize your checkout. You told her you will come down within 5 mn. As you did not, she decided to call...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
