Wonderfully helpful staff, especially Robert, nothing was too much trouble. Stayed in room 401 at front, walls are thin, could hear water running in shower in adjoining room, everything else was spot on, metro station opposite, 25 mim walk to Gare Du Nord or 10 mins on Metro. Plenty of average restauarants nearby right on the edge of Chinatown too,...

The location is excellent. If you like walking you can easily walk to the Pompidou Centre and about Le Marais. There is an interesting market near Square du Temple on a Sunday. The park itself is full of interest. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was good if not a little noisy at night. The...

Stayed for two nights at the Hotel Ecole Centrale Paris with a lovely ensuite room on the fifth floor over looking the street. Hotel was situated very easily to find opposite a Metro Station on the edge of china town. There is plenty of food to be had nearby with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel is a 15...

A family owned, five stories hotel, with 23 rooms and I must say, friendly personnel. Very well located in the popular Marais area, with good sized rooms and very reasonable amenities. The standard rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd; the superior on 3rd and up. We've paid (offer price) for standard rm, 114€ /night but we've been upgraded...

Great boutique hotel in an excellent location and at a fabulous price! Next to it is a bar/cafe and opposite is a delicious boulangerie. The staff at the front desk were all so friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in (double) was spacious and we loved the bathroom. If we come back to Paris, this is where we will...

I stayed there for a week. Everything about this place was satisfying. Its location is perfect, the area is very central. The management is very professional. The front desk employees are multilingual friendly and very helpful; they answer all your questions about Paris and places to go. The rooms are very well decorated. The breakfast area is a bit too...

The hotel staff was always professional , extremely helpful when needed. When we forgot accessories in the hotel they immediately contacted to retrieve them. The last day we left our luggage in the hall so we could enjoy our last day off without thoughts.

A very central and convenient location, yet didn't feel touristy, which is always a plus. Close to a Metro station. If you are a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs: Paris at night is noisy. The room felt somewhat small for two people but it wasn't tiny. The staff, however, were wonderful - friendly and very helpful. Always warm and...

We stayed here for two weeks in May 2016 after our HomeAway/VRBO rental apartment was canceled a few days before arrival. This is a great location. We truly recommend this nice and quiet hotel. We stayed two days in early April 2016 and we were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff. They helped us all the way. Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
