We looked for and booked a hotel once we arrived in Paris. The price was right and the location great as it was close to the train station. Our room was on the top floor and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our small balcony. The double door/window leading to the balcony was great for air flow. The only...

I stayed for two nights. The place is very accessible for bus and train travels but since there are 2 bus stops nearby, expect a quite noisy street even at night. Closing the Windows will help reduce noise but it will be a bit hot inside the room. They don't have electric fans too. Elevator is not working so you...

My visit was for 3 nights in March and I found that the hotel was very good value for money. The rooms were fairly small but were clean and had everything you need. The reception was 24 hours and although you leave your key when you head out, which I found a bit strange, they were very friendly and helpful...

This is a very nice hotel for a low budget and very close to Paris Gare du Nord. So perfect for when you travel from the UK, Netherlands, Belgium or Germany by any of the high speed trains. And nearby are also 2 metro stations altho both from the same line.

I arrived with a very heavy cold and was given tea with honey before I even checked in. Karim was very caring and made checking in straight forward. The room itself was very clean and was cleaned everyday during my stay. The room was a little noisy of an evening but after a day of sightseeing I soon stopped hearing the...

This is a great option for the price. The location is close to Gare du Norde, so if you are taking the train from the airport, its an amazing choice. From my balcony, I had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were just OK, but that is all I need. The reception was good and the breakfast...

It’s not easy finding a room large enough for three friends to share, with their own beds, so we were pleased with the size and price of the ‘junior suite’ at this hotel, which is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, and a less easy walking distance of the Arc de Triomph and Eiffel...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
