I have been coming to this hotel for some years. It is in a great location close to a Metro station which is direct from Gare du Nord (for Eurostar), the rooms are large for Paris hotels and bright, the bathroom is clean and adequate....More
Great location, the hotel is very close to Saint Sulpice. The area is very quite and the hotel is very close to the tube station!
The rooms are really pretty and they have a nice view. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the lift......More
This hotel is not a chain experience, it is French! We had a lovely attic room with a tiny balcony. You are right in the middle of the 6th, with great shopping and close to the metro.
Some remodelling is happening, but they bring a...More
Reasonably priced, handily located, small hotel, 100 metres from Saint-Sulpice Metro station, just off Place Saint-Sulpice. About 20 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Our room was quite small (as were all the others I think), with en-suite bath and shower (hand-held and no curtain), to...More
We arrived to the hotel and find the smallest but cutest elevator ever! We have problem one night without hot water and the A/C is not cold enough. Despite the mishap, I rated it very good because the location is good and the friendliest and...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

Depends on how much luggage you have. The train system is very easy to use and there is a metro station only a block from the hotel. There is an app you can download that will create the route for you when you put in your destination. You will be taking the RER (regular train)and the Metro (underground subway). The two train lines share and have intersecting stations. I think the app name is Paris Metro. Taxi is also an alternative and I think necessary if you have more than one suitcase. Have fun, the hotel is in a great area with some excellent restaurants in easy walking distance.
