Absolutely love this hotel, everything about it from the perfectly formed room (quite a good size for Paris), pristine bathroom, with excellent fittings to the quaint underground breakfast room with a great choice of options to choose from. Lovely location in the Latin Quarter - very safe and lots of eateries just nearby. Get a room on the fifth floor...

Adorable, boutique hotel. We asked for the "larger" room and a courtyard view which gave us a little balcony and kept us away from any street noise. It was very quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent - near metro, bus, (for Eiffel tower), reasonable walk to Notre Dame, a little further to Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre. Plenty of...

The room was decent however my advice is to avoid the Suite Deluxe if you would like to have a useable window. The suite assigned to us has a window, and a door to a passage outside, where a homeless man has made his home. As such we could not use either. In addition a trio of musicians like to...

Dear Madam, We thank you for your feedback. We have two Deluxe Suites (around 36sqm) in the Hotel: one is on the ground floor with a view on our patio; the second is located facing a small typical Parisian narrow street which is a pedestrian alley away from the main street. This is a quiet alley and unfortunately during your...

We loved this hotel! It's in a great location in St. Germain des Près - easy walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Musée D'Orsay and much more, plus close to Metro & easy access to trains. We're one of two couples who stayed for three nights in superior double rooms facing a small interior courtyard. The room size was...

I decided to make a last minute trip which resulted in me making my hotel arrangements while at the airport. During a quick search of hotels, Hotel Atmospheres came up....the price was very good, and the reviews were great! This sounded way too good...but I booked it anyway, fully expecting to be disappointed. Well, was I wrong! This property far...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Atmospheres! We have decided that we enjoyed staying in the Latin quarter....away from the typical touristy areas 1. I had to email ahead of time of have some medical supplies delivered. The hotel responded promptly in English and we're happy to receive them. 2. We were greeted warmly upon check-in and every day by...

This hotel was very nice and quaint. It is in a great location near the Sorbonne, Ile St. Louis, and Notre Dame. The hotel was quirky and fun but had a few hidden up-charges so plan to pay for most things in your hotel room. I assume this lowers the initial pricing but our bill at check out was a...

Celebrating 50th birthday. Booked on line, very efficient and prompt replies. Located within a 5 minute walk of Notre Dame. This is a boutique hotel so don't expect a large room. We stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were allocated a room on the 4th floor. It was small but beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Checked in for the weekend after a business trip ended. The rooms are clean and each one is decorated different. I would say this is a high end boutique style hotel. Tea and coffee available in the room. Front desk staff is amazing and gave us a great dinner recommendation that included a discount!

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. We've created this hotel with extreme attention to detail and a focus on guest experience. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location). We're looking forward to make your stay in Paris the best you've ever had. ... more   less
