This was the second hotel in Paris that we stayed at- the first one was up on the Champs Elysees (Hotel Francois 1er) and I wanted to see a different part of Paris by changing up the hotels. We arrived first thing in the morning and were able to store our bags in the luggage closet no problem until we...

This Hotel used to be the Louvre Rivoli, but is now renamed but fortunately the proprietor is the same. We've been coming here for 14 years. It's the prime location for central Paris, you can get most important places on foot, and there is a taxi rank in nearby Chatelet, Paris taxis are cheaper than London taxis, so if you...

This is a rare combination of perfect location (super central) and at the same time very quiet street. And service is amazing. We found administrator Victoria particularly helpful. She is very knowledgeable and helped with various recommendations. Our room was amazing, clean, spacious and very modern! Look forward to spending another weekend in Paris next year, and definitely at Elixir!

This is a good option close to the Seine. The hotel is situated in a quiet side road, close to a Metro station and very close to some of the main Paris attractions (Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou, Seine). I arrived in the evening, and it seemed to be a busy, lively area with lots of Restaurants. I quite liked the...

Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for your comment. We are glad that you have appreciated our hotel. As far, you seem satisfy and we are very happy to ear about it. We are just a little disappointed to get only 60% satisfaction for such a good experience. We do hope that our potential futurs customers will take care of it....

I loved my room! And the location of the hotel was completely perfect. If you plan on taking the Metro, buy a carnet of tickets or have a card ready to go ahead of time - there isn't a machine/window to buy tickets at the Chatelet entrance nearest the hotel. (So you can enter there if you already have a...

Very clean and tidy rooms, in a great location, close to one of the nicest areas of Paris, I.e. Marais. Personnel was so much polite, and so very friendly. On the negative side there was some noise as walls are thin.

Madam, we acknowledge receipt of your comment. It is always sad to get a bad comment from our customers. If I understand well, the problem was that your room had 2 Samsung TV's but only one remote control for these 2 TV's. We have less and less stolen remote control but it is happening. So you asked to our nightman...

Room itself was very nice and great location. Bathroom was freezing cold and toilet brush in our room was disgusting. Would be nice if the staff asks once in a while or at least during the check out how was our stay?

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
