Small room, no AC. Standing shower too small you will bump into the walls. Housekeeper doesn't know what DND means, even if you leave it outside your door, they will still enter the room. There's a steep staircase going to the tiny lobby, so imagine...More
We stayed here at the same time last year, and were well impressed, came back again this year and brought some friends too. We had room 42. The hotel is basic, and clean, and you have to negotiate the steps at the front of the...More
Clean, convenient, and quiet, that is all I needed -- who needs to spend any time in a hotel room in Paris? I stayed twice, a week apart, and it was fine. Nothing fantastically great, but it was clean, quiet, and sufficient. I was in...More
From the outside it didn't look that great. After the first door a narrow flight of stairs not promised anything good, instead...
The room (I was at the 8th floor) big enough, very clean, with a pleasant scent and a super view of Paris.
Nice hotel, good central location, near train and metro station. Would stay here again. You do have one flight of stairs to bring your bags up to get to the lobby. From there the elevator is available up to the rooms.
Clean, and friendly staff.

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

Hi, the other two reviewers were right. You first have to climb stairs before getting to the reception. The elevator is facing the reception and I never had problems with it. I was there last year and I will be 61 years now and had no problems with the stairs, but it depends on the physical aptitute of your parents. Shouldn't be such a problem if they are ok. Hope this helps. Room was good for the price and the location very good.
