We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel du Petit Moulin. The room was super cozy and clean. The service was impeccable. The hotel is located perfectly in the charming Le Marais. We will definately stay here again next time we are in Paris.

Beautiful designer bedrooms, excellent bathrooms. Great Marais location - quiet and a little away from the humdrum of tourist Paris, but a short and easy walk to key sights and great local restaurants and bars on your doorstep. A relaxed "honesty bar" on the ground floor is perfect for a night cap.

I stayed here one night with my girlfriend. The room (deluxe) was very big and extremely comfortable. As I understand every room has its style and ours was very flamboyant, but in a nice way. The only negative aspect I could find is that WiFi signal in the room was not great and went down sporadically. Very good breakfast and...

We loved our stay here. It's perfectly located on a quiet street in the Marais, a short walk from lots of restaurants, sights, shopping, the metro and Velib bike rental. Our room and bed were beyond comfortable. Great bathroom and shower, lovely Hermes bath products and very friendly staff. If we come back to Paris we're definitely staying here again!

This is a charming, friendly, little hotel in a quiet part of the Marais. The previous owner was a friend of Christian La Croix, so the decor is delightfully unusual. Lots of mirrors, wall coverings, bright colors and orchids fill every nook. The beds are comfortable, the staff friendly and the continental breakfast is well done.

Knowing nothing about the neighbourhoods of Paris, I was recommended this boutique hotel in the Marais district. I would not stay in any other part of Paris now. It was perfect. The neighbourhood was just delightful, small streets, many cafes and beautiful small independent shops. It felt totally safe and was in easy walking distance to many attractions including the...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
