We were 3 mature rugby World Cup supporters on our stay in Paris. We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and it was great value for money. Continental breakfast very good unlimited juices and hot drinks. Very friendly staff both on reception and in eating area. Metro, buses were very close by, SacreCouer and Momartre village very close. Throughout our stay, we met a trio of desk clerks, and every one was friendly. The hotel was mixed in among a street of endless cafes, bars, and a giant tourist attraction. Short walk to Galleries Lafayette as well and Sacre Coeur. Could come and go at any time of night.

A small hotel surrounded by sex shops, not the best location for families. Small breakfast area, breakfast with very limited choices. The "best thing" is the non existing air condition. If you stay in this hotel you must choose the days before you visit Paris. If more than 30 prepare yourself for boiling. Love Paris

Starting off, we arrived 19/08 and were hoping for a speedy check in as I was desperate for the loo. I’m not too sure what the problem was but the receptionist seemed to not know where any of the rooms were and led us to three different sections that were not correct. The lift was TINY. The fact that I had a backpack on meant I could not get on the lift, especially not with any suitcases. We finally managed to find the room ourselves and settled in. We had bought some bottles of water to keep cold but the fridge was not working. As other comments mentioned the noise outside was pretty loud, and as there was no air on we had to keep the window open. I did see an ant on the carpet and looked for more but it was just the one. I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the handle outside as we were only staying for a couple nights and as we went to leave the receptionist yelled at me to hand over my room key. I was not expecting this nor have ever been asked to do this. I queried this and received “is there a problem? It’s for security”. Quite frankly, I would have felt much more secure keeping my own room key at all times, especially as it’s a physical key not a card so no access records etc. I had no option but to hand over the key and when we got back, of course our room had been entered and it appeared our bed was made and towels replenished. This would have been fine but I did put the do not disturb sign on the door. Overall, I would not stay again. Price for the area was not too bad, but did not have a comfortable sleep with the heat and noise and did not have any customer service from either receptionist.

Starting from when I didn't even get to the hotel: despite the fact that on Booking it says clearly that the check-in is possible until midnight, at 18:20 I receive a message from them asking when I expected to arrive. When I answered between 19 and 20 their reply was a (quite threatening) message saying that if I didn't show up they would have charged me the first night anyway. With a very ironic "Welcom to Paris" following. Then I arrived at the check in desk and straight away the guy asked me if I was ok if he charged me all the nights I had to spend there, because my booking had the option to be reimbursed if I didn't show up from the second night because "it's going to be easier on the paper". I didn't even notice I had this option, anyway I (naively) agreed because obviously I didn't have any intention to run away. First night in the room it was ok-ish: the room was clean, but the furniture was clearly very cheap, the bed was screeching at every move and the hair dryier was getting too hot to hold in the hand after a couple of minutes of usage. The main problem was the street below though: it was super noisy until 4:30am, and with the heat of these days I couldn't keep the window closed - and there's no AC. But ok, this is not under their control. The big problem came the second night: I came back at around 3am and... there was noone at the desk to open the door of the hotel. I tried to ring multiple times at the doorbell and even called their phone number but noone showed up. I had to go around at 3am in the morning, looking for a place where to sleep because of that. When I went to complain later in the morning they said that the guardian was there all the time and that they didn't have any proof to believe what I was telling them. In the end I had to leave with just their word that the owner had been informed, that he would have checked the security camera recordings and that I would have been contacted. One week later I still have no news from them, so I called the hotel and discovered that noone was aware of anything, and if I didn't send an email there wouldn't have been any follow up. Weird that they didn't mention this when I was there. So I wrote the email and at first I was asked when I had this problem, confirming the fact that noone was aware of it. So I gave the details and they disappeared again. Three days later I write them again and their reply is "the guardian told me that he was there all the time". So I explained the problem again, even sending them the receipt of the other hotel I had to pay at 3.30am, and the reply was "there is not enough proof for me to authorize any kind of refund". And that was it. The fact that I had to go around at 3am to pay for an accommodation that I already payed to them is clearly not enough to put any doubt on the "guardian word". Conclusion: stay away from them, they just don't care at all about the service they give you - as long as they get your money it doesn't matter.

Location is unbeatable for Moulin Rouge, right opposite! Short walk to Galleries Lafayette as well and Sacre Coeur. Guys at reception were lovely! Friendly and welcoming! Room itself was so much bigger than expected, had a bath and was clean and quiet at night. They serve breakfast but we didn't have it so can't comment. But area for it looked good. They let you leave your luggage for €5 which is great. Can come and go at any time of night. Price was also very good! I would definitely stay again and will be recommending!

This hotel was amazing!! By far my favourite of two stays on my recent trip to Paris. After seeing the images posted here, I was hesitant at best about spending 4 nights at this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the reality! Our room was a double bed, fairly large, with a small mini fridge and a fan!!!!!! The bathroom was a great size as well, the only "con" being that there was no shower curtain, but if you angle the shower head a certain way, you can avoid getting most of the floor/countertop wet. Our room was amazingly well kept, with housekeeping tidying our room each day of our stay. Location of this hotel was superb, right across from the Moulin Rouge and a quick walk to 2 separate subway entrances. Throughout our stay, we met a trio of desk clerks, and each was friendlier than the last. While the hotel itself was a tad pricey, albeit likely due to being a last minute booking, it's again worth keeping in mind that it's mixed in among a street of endless cafes, bars, and a giant tourist attraction. Would definitely recommend booking a stay here!

Serious safety incident
I was extremely drunk after a night out and when I returned to the hotel I was unable to get back into my room as my sister had our key and was not with me, I went to the desk for help and another worker who was not behind my desk led me to the breakfast area which is out of sight and began putting his hands up my skirt even after I clearly was telling him to stop. I was in such a state that I was unable to protect myself and he continued to assault me until I finally managed to push his hand away and then he continued to follow me to my room. I cannot even express how traumatised I am and I never even want to go back to Paris because of this awful experience.

Great value for money, clean ,only stayed 3 nights but bed and towels changed twice , continental breakfast reasonable for 8 euros each ( hot croissant & baguette, cold meat and cheese , jams ,toast ,juice and hot drinks.very friendly staff both on reception and in eating area. Metro .buses very close by, SacreCouer and Momartre village very close. Moulin Rouge literally across the road ( very disappointed by prices ! , cheapest show we could find was over €100 each!!, dearer than broadway shows). Area does have lots of sex shops but we didn’t see any problems related to this. A good base for exploring Paris and would use again.

My husband and I spent 2 night here. It is clean, the bed wasnt bad at all. The toilet needs a bit of better cleaning and the bath curtain was awful. The bed was comfy and good to sleeep. One guy in the reception very rude but the other one friendly. Paople in the restaurant dont speak english but were very helpful. Metro station very close to the hotel. Recommended for budget hotel!!!

I liked the location of the hotel as well as the price - it was a good base for us to explore. The windows were very soundproof which was excellent, given that we were opposite the Moulin Rouge and various bars. A fan was a welcome addition to the room, so was the fridge to keep our water cold. · There was no kettle/tea making facilities in the room, this would have been a nice addition. The bed was not that comfy, but others may find the beds ok (personal preference).
