This hotel is positioned in a good location of Marais with it being close to the metro on the yellow line which gets you to a lot of the main tourist attractions .The staff are helpful but abit reserved and need abit of persuasion initially to help .The hotel whilst being in a great location can be noisy and ear...

For our first trip to Paris this was the perfect hotel to stay in. Staff are first rate and it is within walking distance to just about everything on the to do list. Cozi who does the breakfast each morning was very charming and helpful. Another plus is that it has air conditioning a very welcome relief as the day...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in July. This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet area. The views are also beautiful looking out onto the Rue de Rivoli where we would sit on our balcony and people watch. It was very relaxing coming down for breakfast in a quiet room and enjoying some coffee, juice...

Straight from CDG airport changing lines once, pop out at St Paul and it's just across the street in Le Marais. Fantastic location! The room is very compact and the design makes best use of small space. The reception staff are always friendly and nice. Our morning breaky person was also lovely. Restaurants and bars everywhere. A short walk to...

This hotel is very cute! The rooms are small as can be expected in Paris but everything is within easy walking distance and the Marais is such a fabulous area with so much history, shops and great restaurants. You certainly won't be in your room a lot. Rue de Rivoli is just outside your door and St Paul Metro station...

I stayed in a single room and there was more than enough space for me & my stuff. The staff was very friendly and tolerated my terrible French with a smile when I asked for my room key. The location is great -- it's across the street from a metro station and there are lots of restaurants, etc. within walking...

I had to stay overnight in Paris. Hotels are hard to find and localisation is key if you do not want to spend tour time in transport. Émile is ideally located. If you are looking for space then try to go away fromthe center of Paris. But if you look for a great location and use most of your time...

We stayed for 5 days in May 2015, the hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to everything in Paris and close to the metro. The room was VERY small, there is limited storage and no place to move at all. The bathroom is open to the room so make sure you don't need any privacy. We had...

We stayed at Hotel Emile for 5 nights and loved each night. The room was small, but well laid out and very clean. The view was good! The best part of the hotel was the location. Right around the corner from a Metro station and within walking distance of many sights.

I stayed at Hotel Emile for 8 days in May 2015. I knew that this was not going to be a luxury hotel stay and that was fine by me. The room was big enough to house the bed, side tables and an open cupboard/hanging area. The finishes were tired with chipped paint and the carpet near the shower was...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
