Nearby to the Metro, but also walkable to Paris's main attractions. Cute neighbourhood with cafes & bars. Cool quirky hotel and rooms. Came with free use of a mobile phone - great idea, although it didn't work that well. But everything else was excellent. Would stay again.

Well decorated and friendly hotel with kind and welcoming staff close to northern Paris railway stations. Rooms on the small side but with original tasteful decor. Staff very accommodating and anxious to please customers. Breakfast served courteously by friendly staff. Reasonable selection. Honesty bar available although not used.

The hotel is located in a decent area. You can walk to the Opera house, and its a quick subway ride to the Eiffel tower. We actually walked to the Seine River. The hotel rooms are small, but cozy. I LOVED the shower. The water comes straight down on you. They had eggs and sausage available for breakfast which was...

I visited the hotel for a weekend break. Coming via Eurostar, the hotel is perfectly located 10 mins away from Gare du Nord station and in a central position for easy reach of Gallery La Fayette, Madelain and other sights. The hotel is small but well served. At the check in I experienced the unfortunate payment of 50£ as a...

We stayed for a week. First the location of the Hotel is great for getting around Paris. Very close by are 2 Metro lines that can take you all around the City. Next is that the hotel is located in a fantastic area for small/tiny highly rated bistros. We ate at several and they were never more than a few...

I enjoyed my short but sweet stay at Les Plumes. The room was small but colorful and modern decor in the best location. The breakfast was nice every morning. However, the staff were the true gems of the hotel.

The hotel and staff are lovely and they couldn't do enough for us. they made us feel very welcome and this is a great location as it is two minutes from the Cadet metro. The only down side is there is very little hanging space and no where to store your clothes so you have to live out of a...

We stayed at Les Plumes as part of a short trip to Paris. The hotel is in a great location near the Cadet metro in what feels like a safe and tidy part of Paris. The staff were wonderful and suggested an itinerary for us to follow to see as much of Paris as possible in the short time we...

Over all, we had a delightful stay at Les Plumes--even the wallpaper was a kick. You need to do something about the lack of closet space. Outside of that, we had no complaints. The hotel was charming, the staff smart and efficient, the location perfect , and the price right !

Lovely clean and modern hotel with very welcoming staff. Beautiful decor with a comfortable room. Felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Hotel about a 90 second walk from Cadet metro station. There is also a McDonalds, Starbucks, Patisserie, Boulangerie and supermarket all within a couple of minutes walking. We did not use the breakfast service, which was €15 per person,...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
