Visited May 18-21, 2016. Second stay with Hotel Mont Blanc. I found this the perfect location for all I wanted to see in Paris. From CDG it was an easy trip via public transport. The Latin Quarter is lively, friendly vendors, and offers restaurants, shops, even a market for snacks. The room are typical of European rooms, from my experience....

Great location near Notre Dame and Lourve. Room was small but clean, staff friendly and plenty of restaurants close by. Would be happy to return to this hotel if wanting to revisit Le Lourve and Notre Dame area.

As the saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'. Small lobby, and very small basic (single) room. Good quality towels and effective hairdryer, but only shower gel and soap provided (no shower cap). However, very clean, with comfortable bed. Was on top floor - no street noise with windows closed, but annoying noise from elevator mechanism, and banging doors....

Hotel was right near Notre dame and the hop on and off bus tours as well. Cheap food and drinks in area of hotel roughly 15 euro for a three course dinner. Area is lively and busy especially at night which is what we wanted! Hotel is nice clean and basic free wifi wasn't the best but was enough. But...

Hotel is grotty looking but it is clean. Rooms are tiny and the noise from other rooms is very loud. It almost sounded like the people were in your room with you! Couldn't open the windows at night either as noise from street was quite loud. However location is pretty good if you don't want to spend any time in...

Tiny rooms, but the location is incredible. A very European experience. A bustling noisy street with all kinds of different people to watch. Very short walk to the metro. More like something out of the 50's. For me, it made the time in Paris feel like I was right in the heart of the city.

This hotel is in a very good location near to the metro and train station also very close to Notre-Dame, louvre and Latin Quarter. Hotel rooms are small basic but clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available a basic buffet style for ten euros. The bad points are it is extremely noisy right in the party area noise...

I stayed in this hotel with my sister for a couple of days. Really cheap given its location. However, there are some serious cons to consider: in the first place the street is full of bars and is extremely noisy - I literally couldn't sleep as the shouting and music kept me awake up to 3am. Secondly, if you are...

Stayed here from 20151209-20151212. Very clean, convenient hotel with excellent service. Breakfast at adjoining restaurant for EU 10 per person. Close to Notre Dame and Seine. Busy nightlife in the area but windows are soundproof. Would definitely stay here again.

Single rooms small, clean, fresh towels daily. Shower hot and strong. Even though the hotel is in a busy area our rooms were quiet. Very handy for travel. Near Notre Dame. Coffee shops, restaurants and bars seconds away. Patisserie opposite. Staff very helpful. Lots of info in foyer and pc access.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
