We stayed there two nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely surroundings near the Place de la Bastille, very close to the metro and RER. Just around the corner from restaurants and pubs. Hotel and room very clean. And of course old school lift :)

This 7 story hotel is situated near Gare De Lyon and is within walking distance of majority of Paris Attractions. It is only 10 minutes walk to Bastille where there are numerous restaurants. The hotel needs remodel, which is being done, but most rooms are still old and some are very damp. The street noise is heavy all day long...

Stayed here for a weekend whilst visiting the sights of Paris. It was a perfect location to Gare de Lyon station which took us directly to disneyland paris in 30 mins and a direct link to Chatlet station which took us to the airport in less than an hour. It was a lovely hotel and the staff were incredibly friendly,...

Stayed here for two nights with my teenage daughter in July 2014. We were happy enough, fast wifi and the bathroom was large and clean with two soap dispensers. There was a fan in the room which we needed because it was very hot in Paris during our stay. Staff on the front desk were great and spoke English. We...

Used this Hotel for its location pres de Gare de Lyon! Was ideal for our train next morning as right across the road. A very old and interesting building adapted to Hotel use. Décor very 70's but that wasn't important-perfectly functional and adequate, with very comfortable bed. Would use it again. Breakfast continental. Staff friendly and helpful.

We wanted a hotel close to the railway station because we had rather heavy bags on the train. This hotel is situated very close to the station, just on the other side of Bd Diderot. The hotel is not very modern but our room was clean and tidy even if it might be refurbished. Breakfast is available, but there are...

nice and helpful staff, nice hall and common rooms, some rooms, even if very cosy and traditionally french, need renovation, expecially for stained carpets and creacking wooden floors underneath - also hydraulic system could be improved - however, should I need an accomodation in that area of Paris, I would consider again this hotel

Excellent choice for a one or two night stop when using Gare de Lyon. You can see the sign as you exit the front of the train station (very helpful when you don't know where you are). Room was small, but clean and adequate. Breakfast was basic . . just bread / croissants, but that's all we wanted anyway. For...

Stumbled upon this hotel when we had to find a place to stay at the last minute, and this hotel was near the train station. I was very pleasantly surprised! First of all, we got a great rate - under 90 euros for a double room - and the front desk attendant was very nice and had a good sense...

“Rooms facing the back of the building are quiet for the light sleeper. Rooms facing the street are fun but are very noisy. Opt for the 7th floor street view room.”
