Nothing wrong with this as a base hotel to explore Paris, right by the metro- clean -adequate breakfast! Rooms are tiny but who goes to Paris to stay in your room anyway !overall a decent hotel with no major complaints

Superb location, neat rooms, friendly and helpful service except of an older man who - as I figured out later - was trying to be helpful as well only he could not understand English. Broader range of breakfast items would be welcomed but that is just a small detail. No problem, there are tons of restaurants & bistros nearby.

Hotel is very well located in a quiet neighborhood an 1 block away from the Pirte de Vincennes Metro station. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are small and so are the bathrooms but is all you need to crash at the end of a long day after all the sightseeing. It is a clean an safe property and...

I booked my 18 year old daughter and her two friends here for a 4 night break in Paris. The location was perfect. 2 minutes walk from the main M1 metro line and she was in central Paris in 7 minutes. It's a budget hotel so no frills. Was clean and room had ensuite shower and toilet. The room was...

Its seems like a new renovated hotel. The elevator is old but cool though. The room is adequately equipped with necessary items. Room views are limited. Its like only 1 minute of slow walking to a metro station. Love the chique but retro style of this hotel. Downside is - the walls arent too thick. I was awake as my...

The hotel has an excellent position few meters from the important Metro line # 1 and a big tramways station. The Gare de Lyon is three stops away and place de a Bastille and place de Vosges within the reach of a normal walk. The hotel is in a very quiet street although close to the crowded cours de Vincennes...

We came to Paris for my wifes birthday and stayed at Tamaris. We always read reviews about the places we go and most importantly we make sure we check the worst reviews. I have to say that they took the feedback and worked on it. Breakfast is great! If you are into continental... Forget English breakfast here, you are in...

Good location, with many facilities around the place. Weak breakfast, not so much variety and quality of what was offered, so even though you could repeat if you would like, normally you either wouldn't wish so or be kind of embarassed of asking for more in front of all the other people in the room, except for coffee that you...

I booked this hotel thinking that this was in the latin district. we ended up walking all the way to Notre Dam along the Siene. I am not a fan of Paris and this hotel was not the worst of that city. i liked the quiant elevator. the room was small and the bed was stuck between two walls. bathroom...

I visited the Tamaris Hotel this week with two other friends. We had a triple room which was fine for or needs and the beds were relatively comfortable! The room was on the small side but we wouldn't have needed anything bigger as we did not spend much time there. The shower worked well, as did all other appliances. The...
