Good location, close to the metro, and a very short walk to Rue Montorgueil, a dreamy street full of excellent bakeries, cafes and artisanal stores selling cheese and produce. Friendly front staff, affordable price, especially considering an ensuite. Only gripe would be that the wifi...More
This budget hotel was perfectly placed. We could easily walk round the corner to the metro or walk to the Seine. It was small but spotless. As there was only a hand held shower I actually loved the long soak in the bath after a...More

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
