Housed in an old French building it provided us with a clean basic room. We had a beautiful - obviously newly refurbished - bathroom. Very friendly staff ; an adequate, nicely served breakfast We needed a good overnight room for a trip starting at Gare du Lyon, five minutes walk away. Will definitely return if the need arises

We had a situation where our flight to Athens Greece where we were to board a cruise was cancelled due to a strike. The front desk staff did everything they could to find a way to get us there. Every single one of them tried. When our travel insurance agreed we could stay in Paris and then pick up our...

Just over the road from Gare de Lyon. Friendly professional staff, clean and comfortable. Quiet night's sleep. We arrived in Gare du Nord and after a quick and easy metro ride found the hotel easily and we get lost easily.

Stayed in this hotel for couple of nights in may 2016 along with my wife. The hotel has elevator only till the 4th floor and you need to pull your luggage up the stairs after that which is a pain considering the narrow staircase. The hotel has good cheap restaurants nearby and an amazing bakery on the right after exit....

Ideal for an overnighter when traveling by train. Yes the lift is tiny and opens on to the spiral staircase between floors. Yes the bedroom was just adequate but the bathroom was the same size. If you want large rooms and large lifts use an American style chain like Holiday Inn but if you want some French character on your...

The lady on the help desk was very smiley and friendly, and greeted us as we came and left the hotel, making sure we were all okay. The hotel itself is very airy and spacious, while maintaining a cosy feel. Our room had a balcony looking onto a pretty Parisian street, with big windows we could open up to explore...

Stayed one night before getting an early train. Reasonable price for the area and convenient. Lift only went to some floors so had to carry bags up narrow stairs. Would stay there again for the location. Had a very bad experience with another hotel in this area so we appreciated that this one turned out OK. Not a place I...

Stayed here my last two days in Paris after a tour of France with soccer team. Good basic budget hotel with an actual key for your room. Right next to the metro station at Gare de Lyon and good eating selections.

My room was on the 6th floor, the tiny lift only went as far as the 4th and it was a narrow winding staircase to reach the 5th and 6th floors. Furnishings were very basic and the room was cramped, no door to the bathroom owing to lack of space and the door to the room only opened two thirds...
