Stayed here for one night. Location is quite good, with a large number of restaurants in the vicinity. Rooms are simply furnished and I missed having a proper chair to sit on: there is only a stool. WiFi is free and worked well, even though I was on the top floor. Selection of channels on the TV is indeed mainly...

The hotel staff were very nice at the desk and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough and the in-suite washroom was cozy but functional and convenient. The hotel website claims to have sound proofed rooms but I seriously doubt that - we could hear just about everything inside the hotel and out. The location was convenient...

The location and price are good, but the hotel leaves something to be desired. The rooms are reasonably clean and comfortable - of the basic standard you expect at 2 stars. But there was a broken knob in the bathroom, which was generally in need of updating, and the wifi worked only in the lobby, which is extremely annoying

This hotel is in a great location next to the Daguerre Village. Staff were friendly but, unlike the day staff, the evening staff could not speak any English. He was very sweet and tried to be helpful but just couldn't understand what we were trying to ask. The room was typical for Paris--small. The room had a decent sized bathroom...

I am never a review writer but I figuredbecause I used this website to help me choose a hotel the least I can do is help someone else. I would rate this hotel with a 8 out of 10, and the only reason why it looses 2 points is because they didnt have any English stations on TV. But thank...

This is a fairly cheap hotel close the Denfert Rochereau area of Paris. Don't expect any luxuries - it is very basic, but reasonably clean, and includes wireless internet in the room. Main tip - don't take the 7 euro breakfast. You can get the same croissant+coffee for 2 euro at any boulangerie on Rue Daguerre, or go up to...

After 14 hours of travel and hauling two heavy suitcase, the woman at the front desk sat and watched me struggle to haul in my suitcases, at which point she rudely and coldly informed me that the hotel was full. I told her I had reservations, and she flat out said "No you don't." I had left my confirmation at...

We got the wrong hotel to start, so I asked how to get to this one... the receptionist had a fit when she found out that this was not the hotel we were supposed to stay at.... thank God... No parking!!! She told us we had to find a parking spot somewhere in Paris with our rental when she thought...

My husband, bay and I stayed there to get over our jet-lag before continuing our trip down South. It was a very bad idea. I usually stay the hotel Solar which is in the area which I know well and like very much. The hotel Solar was full so we booked this one. What a disappointment : small, smelly, noisy...

This hotel is absolutely fine. It is a basic budget hotel with no facilities but in a good location. The rooms are small, but very clean and with an adequate bathroom and good shower and friendly staff. We did have a slight problem at check in with one member of our party getting the key to an already occupied room,...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
