Truly one of a kind hotel. Gorgeous decor and impeccable service. Lovely bar with excellent cocktails. The private pool and steam room are luxurious and relaxing. Highly recommend for those looking for an old world luxury experience.
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend away for her 40th birthday from the moment we arrived we knew it was a special place. The hotel oozes opulence and the staff are phenomenal, so attentive and willing to help in any way possible....More
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

As wonderful as this hotel is, I cannot imagine taking my kids there. It is TOTALLY geared towards romantic breaks and since it openly celebrates its history as a former brothel (including pictures on the wall), and since ALL the guests are couples canoodling I suspect it wouldn't be comfortable for anyone. We are regulars and have never seen kids there. Sorry to be negative, but just about any other hotel would be better for kids.
