This "hotel" has a very good location if you want to be close to Sacré-Cœur and the Montmartre area. It is also close to the metro line 2, but this means that you will have to change metro once or twice to go to the center area of Paris. The beds in the room I stayed in were awful, and...

After one hour a half I took my suitecade and left the hotel to go to a train station. Later I discouvered that a gold pendif with a gold chain, a swiss knife, a...

I spend two nights in this hotel. It is located near Monmart cathedral and Anvers metro station. Rooms were worst than you could believe. Blankets and pillows belong to World War one Soldiers. Dirt all over the rooms. Bathroom worse than room. At night rooms were cold. Breakfast was suitable for children. Avoid this world war reminder.

I went to Paris with my class; the school payed for the trip and the hotel, so we weren't promised anything too fancy. He stayed at Hotel Luxia for three nights. It's a two-star hotel. The service was alright, the staff wasn't that nice though. The rooms weren't very fresh, there were holes in the walls and various things were...

The location of the hotel is good, very close to the metro. you can see the beautiful sacre coeur just when you step out of the hotel. Breakfast was good and rooms were clean.Unfortunately, the hotel is very old and smells old and our room was full of bedbugs.

Hotel is really on a great location close to Sacre Coeur and metro. But this hotel feels like it's still the same since it has been built and we think it was loooong ago xD Only real problem (cause all said can be charming) is that room was filty!

Stayed for 3 nights in Hotel Luxia whilst on a trip to Paris a few summers ago. Apart from delicious fresh breakfasts, this hotel is incredibly basic and has little to offer. Bathrooms weren't clean and there was an unusual odour teeming from the entire hotel. All in all I cannot fault it's provision of the necessities, if your looking...

In the morning I found bites on my body and also insects in the bed, full of blood. Breakfast was very poor: one cruassan and half of baget. The street was dirty,...

The location was not based in the best place (bit dusty). The breakfast wasn't filling but they provided Nutella they also served tea, coffee, croissants and bread rolls. The rooms were not dirty but the beds were uncomfortable as the mattress was quite hard and they had very thin sheets but in the morning someone did them for you so that was...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
