This hotel was very good value for money! Rooms were spacious, fit with all the amenities. Unfortunately our room had only 1 electric socket, our friends though had more, so just make sure to check about that before checking in. Restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is good too! If you don't have a car, this hotel...

If you are not concerned with staying right in or next to the Medieval city then this will do you fine. About a 5 minute drive to the Medieval city and maybe 10 to the Modern City Room was clean and pretty basic but it had all that we needed as in a warm shower a bed and a toilet....

I booked through booking and when we arrived at hotel there was not reservation. Margarie (receptionist) only give us the option to make a new reservation (paying double per night). She did not have good english and was completely rude to give us "the fabolous option to sleep there". For sure, I will never come back again

Modern, solid hotel consistent with the brand standard. Rooms are large and clean, no frills but good value for the money. It is located 20 minutes walking from La Cite, I definitely recommend a stay here. Breakfast is also good.

Great base for a short visit - though it does lack a bit of character. The restaurant is typical of a budget chain hotel, though I have had better meals at many others! Little in the way of attractions in the immediate vicinity of the hotel -- the old City is about 2km away - and whilst a walkable distance,...

Bright, modern hotel, nicely located for visiting La Cite, but walk in takes 20 minutes + , through an uninteresting and drab part of Carcassonne. Perfect if visiting with a car. Taxi in cost approx €13. Good continental breakfast. Didn't eat dinner at hotel as restaurant lacks ambience - also booked out by tour parties on 2 of our 4...

Campanile hotel had very good restaurent. The rooms clean and adequate with coffee making facilities. The staff were most helpful at all times but particularly when I needed to ring the next hotel to get instructions. There are 2 supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. There is a bus into the town but you can walk. The medieval city is within...

Our room was clean and spacious and larger than we've come to expect. Booking in was efficient and quick. We arrived around 6pm but could not get into the restaurant until 9pm despite their being several empty tables! It appeared that there was one large table of 8+ but too few serving staff available although they were friendly and efficient....

Excellent hotel, great facilities and pleasant staff. We were staying in Cucugnan so decided to visit Carcassone for a few days, this hotel was in a great location and very reasonable, air con was a god send given the very hot weather. Medieval city was everything we hoped and more, we unfortunately went in through the steep stairs at the...
