This one of the most interesting places for a hotel we have stayed. The wall city is one of the oldest in France, it was restored in the early 1800's. It's a great place to get a bottle of wine & fresh bread, and watch the sun set on the wall.

On arrival at the airport, we took the shuttle bus (navette aeroport) for 5 euros each. As we boarded, the driver asked which hotel we were staying at and once we'd arrived at La Cite, he kindly advised us it was our stop. It was a short walk to the main gate into the medieval city. We found a tourist...

Lovely hotel right in the centre of the old town. We were in the main building so we had great views. Clean room with a comfy bed. The great location definitely added to the experience of visiting Carcassonne. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a reasonable room in the annex of the hotel. The annex lacked the ambience of the main hotel and although we were not given a discount price, we did not enjoy the facilities of the main hotel. In addition during both check in and check out, the receptionist kept taking phone calls. I was tempted to call her...

We had a room in the outside courtyard. The room was spacious, warm, bright and had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast ( extra charge) was varied and tasty ( continental style) and it was so close to the castle you could see the turrets and walls from the window. Very reasonable rate...

Breakfast Full range of fruits,...

Perfect location, right in the heart of the medieval city! The service was great, very friendly staff always willing to help. We had a problem with our room keys and had to go to reception to sort it out on two occasions but they were always friendly and happy to help. The room was reasonable and had a lovely little...

The location right in the Medieval city is amazing. You walk out and history is all around you. The sights are so breathtaking. The confusion begins with arrival. You arrive at the cite and report to the hotel welcome area (acceuil). There you wait in your car until the bus from the hotel comes to get you. None of this...

This hotel was awesome! Right in the center of a walled city/castle. Smaller rooms, but to be expected. Historic feeling being in there. Staff was helpful for making dinner reservations. Walking distance to everything.

Really well positioned hotel in the center of the walled village. A little expensive, but the location was worth it - no travelling up from town daily to get to the castle. Quite a range of restaurants around to choose to eat at and only steps away from the castle entry.
