we were travelling from Marseille to Spain and we decided along the way to stop by Carcasson. The booking was easy and without any problem, the staff was nice and helpful, but...the hotel was not very clean, rooms were tiny (especially the on for 3 persons) and the position wasn't near any of the touristic attraction, you have to use...

Well lets start with the positive, the staff was VERY helpful, gave us some ice and put our cold packs in the freezer and sent someone up to the room to replace the fan that screeched. The bad well no AC and it is 90 here, the room is so small you have to try and inch your way to...

The night before we were due to stay here, we received an email telling us that our stay at this hotel was no longer possible. Fortunate for us that we had wi-fi pick up on our travels! They swapped us to a hotel across the road.... where the bar was shut, the restaurant closed and the staff surly.

Really close to the airport but the village and medieval city are quite far away (taxi). Staff are really lovely and the breakfast was great. Rooms are basic and the communal areas are just ok. The place is nice and clean though and the bed was comfy. Fine for a night or two.

Booked this hotel for one night because of its cheap price and proximity to the airport. Its 45 minutes walk from the city or 10 minutes by taxi. Taxi costs roughly €10 to and from town, but there is a bus which goes often. And its only a 15 minute walk to the airport. The rooms are very basic, but...

Carcassonne is generally a very expensive place but I managed to find this cozy place at 35 euro/night. It's a 45 minute walk to the city or a 1-euro bus (goes every hour). The place is clean, the staff very friendly.

Stayed here overnight before a morning flight. Didn't have a car so needed somewhere convenient. The hotel rooms are basic but clean and 'en-suite'. The restaurant was surprisingly good, it provided an excellent 3 course meal for 16 euros. Three choices for starter, main course and desert and included tea or coffee. In the morning we could walk to the...

Not a bad hotel, we were on route thru on our motorbikes and wanted to meet up in Carcassone. Would have liked to be nearer old part of town, but in the end didn't have any time to go and visit the old town, just saw it next morning as we rode out, but have done the old part about...

Yes, it is on an industrial estate without spectular views of the medieval city,BUT look at what you are paying. The rooms are clean, compact and contain what you need to sleep, wash, etc. The food is from a smallish menu, BUT is fresh, wholesome, well prepared and cooked and served by a lovely family who want you to enjoy your stay.If you want views...
