We had the top floor room, clean and nicely furnished, with an unbeatable view. Brigitte's husband (I'm assuming), who spoke little English but had a willing and patient attitude with our inadequate French, helped us with check-in, parking, and the morning breakfast, as apparently Brigitte was ill. Breakfast was typical continental, and nothing for anyone with gluten issues (but that... More

Superbly run by a very friendly couple, who had no problem welcoming us after a delay that made us get there after the usual reception hours. Secure parking, awesome location, a nice, old-school cozy room and great breakfast. We'd recommend it without hesitating.

My wife says that this is the worst B&B we have ever stayed in. She agrees that the views were amazing, but the fact that there is no air conditioning and no fans made the room unbearable. You can certainly open the windows and get a breeze, but the location is on a busy street and so it made it... More

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Les Florentines, arriving on May 13. The hosts are very warm and personable. The continental breakfast was always fresh and very good - could not get enough of their cheese and great jams! Their location was perfect, being very near the walls of the old city, as well as all amenities in... More

This small hotel outside the walls of Carcassonne has one room (Florentine) with a fantastic view. The price is a three story climb up a steep, narrow spiral staircase, well worth it - we left our suitcases in the car, just took overnight bags. The staircase is interesting on its own. The room was large, with two walk-out rooftop terraces.... More

My husband and I stayed at Les Florentines for four nights during our road trip around France. The guest house is perfectly situated within literally a few minutes’ walk of the Citadel. We had booked the top floor room (more expensive than the others) but so glad we did. The view was amazing. And we had a lovely decked terrace... More

From the outset our lovely host Brigitte went out of her way to help my sister and I. We arrived in Carcassonne station and there were no taxis. We phoned Brigitte and she immediately came to rescue us. She also helped us during our stay with taxis and tour guides. We stayed in two rooms during our visit and both... More

No air conditioning, virtually no wifi as common area with wifi was locked all day & night except for breakfast. Beware of the false advertising on the website as the photos are only of the best room.

This is a lovely quaint hotel near the medieval city. The location is on a quiet one way street with lots of little bars and restaurants if you fancy a break from the ancient city and tourists. The hotel is owned and run by a lovely woman who is very attentive. Breakfast is continental and delicious. The rooms are very... More
