I'm not sure why Hotel Madeloc is the #1 TripAdvisor hotel in Collioure? Poor location up long uphill residential streets from Collioure center and Chateaux/castle, no lift/elevator, and average size room! Nice balcony, swimming pool and jacuzzi. I recommend one of the hotels overlooking the Chateaux/castle with quick bay walk to village center.

Located within an easy walking distance to the village and sea, this hotel has a wonderful pool area as well as a patio off the main floor. The only reason not to give this beautiful hotel a 5 star rating is the VERY slow internet. We could we only obtain our emails and not get access to the internet that...

A lovely hotel very good staff who make you more than welcome and situated just a few minutes from the main square. Well worth using if you wish to find a base near to Perpignan only a short.drive onto the main motorways.

We had a lovely stay here in a terrace room with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting outdoors and relaxing after a day walking around the town. The town is a ten minute walk with an uphill climb back home but not too bad if you enjoy a walk. Parking is available and conveniently across the road. We enjoyed...

Absolutely lovely staff at reception! Clean room and very good breakfast buffet. Parking in front of the hotel and 10 minute walk into town. There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel but because of the great reviews somehow I expected it to be a little bit nicer and prettier.....if that makes sense.

We have been to Collioure on a couple of previous occasions. This time we stayed for two weeks because we wanted both to further explore the town, coast and mountains and to idle and dawdle when whenever we felt like it. We really enjoyed our time at the Medaloc. We knew it was three star and that consequently chandeliers would...

We elected to stay at this hotel because the trip advisor ratings were reasonable and the price (71 Euro per night) could not be beat. The more expensive rooms were on the upper floors and the hotel does not have an elevator. But we could have had one of those rooms for 81 Euro per night. Our room, on the...

Stayed for two nights at Hotel Madeloc, a very good boutique hotel. Reception was efficient, welcoming and gave detailed info about the hotel. Staff were courteous and friendly throughout the hotel. The hotel is well located a short walk from the centre. Car parking is good, but probably needs pre-booking. The swimming pool is more than adequate and situated above...

This was a pleasant surprise from the normal soulless French 3 star hotels. I think it punches above it's star rating. The staff are charming and the location quiet but close enough to town to make it convenient. Parking was a bonus and we would stay here again. In a town of overpriced accommodation this was a stellar find.

For the price, I expected a lot more. We paid just shy of €1000 for a week in a self-catered apartment with no breakfast. For this I would have expected either a much bigger, higher spec apartment in a better location, or better services and facilities. As it was the apartment was very pokey - you couldn't move without bumping...
