The hotel is very well situated, a few minutes walk to the town centre, close to restaurants. The owners are very helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend as good budget hotel in a good location. Would stay here again.

This hotel is the French version of faulty towers it's simply awful. Visited at short notice for a rugby match I booked this hotel to try & keep the costs reasonable for my travelling party.. Upon arrival the room I was allocated had a Red neon sign flashing vacancies to those outside & had a noisy generator hanging from the...

I am staying here for a few days. The owners are very friendly, helpful and speak English. The room, which is clean and with a comfortable bed, is what you would expect for the category. Breakfast is buffet style with a very good variety ( including cereals and tea )and a sensible price. It is near the centre ( some...

My girl friend and I spent a little over a week at the Alexander Hotel and it was super. The family run establishment made us feel right at home. The management spoke several languages encluding French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, and English to name a few. Our suite was comfortable and clean, with flat screen TV in each room, not to...

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Alexander with a baby for 5 nights and couldn't have had a better experience for the price. It was in the peak of the season and the manager was very accommodating, giving us the quietest room. The place was very clean and cozy, with fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. The location is...

After years of trying to find the perfect small hotel for Visa Pour l'Image, we finally succeeded. The new owners are a super-friendly couple who speak perfect English (always a relief for French language incompetents like us...) and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. There's a little bar in the lobby that Ben runs...

Highly recommended for convenience in every respect: restaurants, shops, bus stops, etc. in the old part of town. Our hosts were very helpful; the rooms tasteful and air-conditioned; breakfast if you want to sign up for it; otherwise, better to head for the streets and numerous cafes. A wonderful experience for an absurdly low price

Our stay was a last minute option because of a car breakdown. I suppose the hotel is a typical 2* but the differing standard of the rooms will influence your view. I largely agree with Lobsang56 and suspect I had the same room. It felt a little like a cell with just one tiny window and a bathroom door that...

Very clean and spacious family room for 5. Location was great. Breakfast was typical continental, all very fresh and plentiful and fair value. Staff were helpful and friendly. Perfect for an overnight enroute stay!

Stayed for one night in May and was an OK experience. Hotel is central so good location and clean. Thats about it as the room was tiny with a small window looking at a wall but I was told it was forbidden to open even this small window. The owners constantly hover around you making you feel uncomfortable even resting...
