We stayed at the Château La Tour Apollinaire in March this year. First good point was that it was only a short distance from the airport but as the airport is only small noise was not a problem. The hotel is hidden away behind electric gates and towers before you as you round the drive. The gardens were full and...

Had a post Christmas/New year break , stayed at La Chateau La Tour Apollinaire a break with a difference lovely apartment, just a couple of things to note if staying there; we stayed in the tower apartment which had a total of 70 stairs from the gound floor to the bedroom level, quite a challenge every time you went out...

Behind an iron gate lies a beautiful garden, and in the distance, a blissfully situated pool, but the beauty of this secret jewel, La Tour Apollinaire, which is hidden in the dusty back streets of Perpignan, lies in the accommodation itself. We were privileged to be placed in a new wing of the house in a tower divided into five...

We enjoyed our stay in this eighteenth-century town house in a suburb of Perpignan, but you must be warned that you will be staying in an apartment not in a hotel room. There are few of the normal accoutrements of a hotel room - there were very basic toiletries and no tea/coffee making facilities plus no tv in the apartment...

This is a haven of peace and tranquility in the middle of the town. The house and gardens are beautiful and the pool is lovely. The rooms are above average size and the tower apartment which we were allocated was more like a hotel suite on three levels. The owners greet guests very warmly and are extremely helpful regards places...

Newly retired and continuing our tour of the south of France we found this accommodation listed as the number one hotel in Perpignan......the surprise was that it is a newly converted chateau with complete suites of rooms rather than the usual ensuite bedroom in a Hotel. Sure, we saw the hotel website and saw a pretty fantastic set of pictures...

Booked for 2 days and was lucky to extend to seven after another unfortunate couple had to leave early. La Tour was recommended by friends who are experienced travellers and said it was now one of their top five places. Never been to South West France previously, summer or winter. La Tour is an idyllic location to be based at...

The accomondation was fantastic but the location was undesirable. The surrounding neigbourhood was out of place with the character of the accomondation to the degree that my wife felt unsafe. There was also building going on next door so we where awakened by diggers etc. at 8am each morning - Not ideal when you're having your first holiday alone in...

We were disappointed to read this review, after having explained by e-mail and in person to our guest that their room (like all other rooms in the Chateau), shares a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen with one other room. Our apartments are so large our guests rarely encounter each other, and when they do, they tend to enjoy...

We spent 5 glorious days here with our two children, 3 and 5 years old. The chateau is lovely and has been beautifully restored by the owners. We had a self contained set of rooms on the ground floor which led out into the beautiful garden, a sheltered sitting area and the heated swimming pool. The weather was very very...
