We were very happy to have another chance to stay at L'Artemise and were not disappointed. Each room is unique and beautifully equipped with fridge, coffee maker, etc and our room (Named Portraits) had the best view ever from the bathroom! A delightful stopover on our way through France, just a short walk from Uzès town, but wonderfully quiet and...

I stayed three nights at L’Artemise catching up with some old friends in Uzes. I had a wonderful time staying at this place. The room was so beautiful, roomy and very clean with great toiletries and linen. The food at the restaurant was superb. Try to get a table outside. There is an outdoor pool in the garden as well...

Great vacation. Out standing location. The food is especially memorable. The staff were very friendly and we came away relaxed and rested. We enjoyed the outside and the inside pools and the quiet location accessible to the town

This beautiful country hotel is a very comfortable and beautifully renovated 17th century country house. It is full of first rate art, lovely gardens, and lots of charm. Our room was wonderful-bedding, towels, soap, etc. The pool was a good size and well furnished with cots, shade, etc. The owner, Benoit, and his staff have provided a terrific experience in a...

Unfortunately we only had one night to spend here, but the memories will last a long time. Low key, relaxing, and charming with all the amenities one could wish for. Nice size outdoor pool for swimming laps, workout room, indoor pool, spacious rooms and a quality restaurant with fine food and a friendly, accommodating staff. Same compliment applies to the...

We had a large sunny room with big terrace with views on the garden. Every attention to detail was made to make our stay memorable. The outdoor pool is fantastic and quiet with outdoor beds. The Spa is superb. But the best was the breakfast which we will remember for a long time (you have to go to understand why!)....

Our first time staying at this perfectly appointed, small hotel. I hesitate to even call it a hotel due to its intimate size and unique location, although you'll certainly be on the receiving end of 4 star service. Our room was exquisitely comfortable and tastefully designed. Breakfast will make you think you've died and gone to heaven. Bathrooms are luxurious...

Pierre and Benoit have built up a superb hotel and restaurant in this unique location on the outskirts of our favourite town in France - Uzes. The property overlooks the valley below the town, and the grounds contain a delightful, large outdoor pool (heated) and some buildings with real charm. The spa is excellent. Beatrice provides excellent massages. The indoor...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The rooms and suites are for two people occupancy only (no additional bed for children) and the house is unsuitable for children below 15. Pets are not allowed. All rooms are non-smoking. The 16th century architecture features light-coloured stone typical of the Gard area. However, behind the ancient walls, the works of globally renowned, contemporary artists adorn the hotel. Every effort has been made to ensure that each moment of the day enhances the feeling of serenity. The rooms and suites with their large, cosy beds come with state-of-the-art facilities. Breakfast is served with views of lush nature. Guests simply love to stroll around the gardens with their cacophony of fragrances and the discretely located pool (12x6m). The spa in the arched cellars prolongs the feeling of deep relaxation and Julien Lavandet’s cuisine has culinary treats in store. Breakfast is served on the first floor terrace (weather permitting) from 9 to 11am. ... more   less
