We were at the Hotel de l'Opera for New Years Eve in the Carmen room. The hotel has a lot of character and whilst not modern and slightly worn in pkaces, it has an undeniable charm. The room was very comfortable. We were told we could borrow a kettle from the bar, but we didn't bother. There was a coffee...

standard tourist hotel, very central location, tiny spa with sauna and steam room. Due to the old building a lot of noise from people walking in the room above. We had booked a "deluxe room with view of the city" on hotels.com, however the hotel management assigned us a room with one small window to an ugly internal courtyard even...

Dear Sir, We are very sorry to hear we fall short of your expectations on this occasion. Unfortunately I have not been informed about your unsatisfaction during your stay. Please note that a majority of our rooms are overlooking on of our inside courtyards. Description of the hotel is mainly done by the webpages themselves and we already asked them...

Old fashion hotel ,needs modernizing, does not seemed to have changed in years, suppose that is its charm even allowing for the red coloured rooms. But still comfortable, staff are excellent, stayed in a superior double. Did not eat in the Michel Restaurant, look more like a canteen(empty one), but the Brassiere next to it was good if totally predictable. Underground Parking could not...

Very nice, great service and right in city centre. Very much enjoyed sitting in lounge area with a glass of wine. Room very nice but for my taste decorated a little darkly. Breakfast was very good. Almost created FEB from what was on offer.

We spent two nights at this hotel, and enjoyed virtually everything about it. Our room was spacious and well appointed; the bar is comfortable, with good service; the breakfast buffet was very good; and of course the location in the heart of Toulouse is excellent. We tried room service once, and became frustrated because the kitchen couldn't seem to understand...

The Grand Hotel de L'Opera is all you would expect from a top rate hotel. Smart professional staff, beautiful, comfortable rooms and also our room was exceptionally quiet, for a city centre hotel. The only downside was that on arrival, we were told that my card had been refused on booking and that the booking had been annulled. We could...

Stayed for a couple of days on our way to Lourdes. Landed at Toulouse airport so we took time out to see the sights. Busy on Saturday and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, but beware Sunday is the opposite, no shops are open and little choice in restaurants and the bars that are open close at 9pm.

Dear Gary, We thank you very much for the comment you have left on Tripadvisor and are glad to hear that you took time to discover Toulouse. I loved this hotel. The hallways, stairways, doors are beginning to look a little used and dated, but overall this is a great hotel with excellent service and in a fabulous location.
