We stayed only one night at the Grand Balcon. Very modern vibe. Front desk was exceptionally helpful arranging our boat transfer the next day. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Our teenage children enjoyed being on the top floor in the suite. Excellent location, walkable to everything. Toulouse is a city worth exploring.

Modern stylish hotel in the heart of the city. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Friendly helpful staff - Our daughter and son-inlaw had a flight cancellation and the young lady on duty was extremely helpful in trying to sort this out for them.

Le Grand Balcon is a lovely renovated hotel with comfortable modern rooms and trendy public spaces. The reception area is modern, perhaps too modern with pedestal reception desks that suggest that the reception staff are limited in the services that they can provide. Indeed, this proved to be the case. The reception staff have no access to cash and cannot...

It is interesting what range the different Hotels of the world can offer you. Once you enter this Hotel you dive into the past with Saint Exupery, the famous writer of "Le petit prince". He used to stay at this charming hotel right at the beating heart of the Town in it´s old building. They just entirely renovated the building...

This hotel is located in the very center, right next to the place de capitol, perfect for city tour. the room is big, and the interior decorations and furnishings are very chic, including Loewe flat screen TV, ipod docket system, and many other designers' furnitures; the ambience of the corridor is kind of creepy, though. However, there are some details...

There was this particular staff, Victor who I think needs a bit more training. 1) He sends us off to Airbus (cab cost about Euro30 one way!) without telling us that we need to book at least 2 weeks in advanced! 2) Upon check-out he charges me for my room which I apparently paid for already! Sure I got the...

This hotel was renovated in 2008 and reopened in January 2009. Despite being very modern and beautifully done, it does retain the charm of how it was before, and celebrates its most famous guest, Antoine de St Exupery, in the aviation style throughout! Parking was our first challenge - we were helped with our bags outside the hotel, then had...

Small rooms are made to feel quite modern and funky by use of graphic design on the walls and glass separating the room from the shower. However, the aircon was broken and nobody could do anything useful about it, and it was only the following morning that we were told that it was broken throughout the entire hotel. So we...

Le Grand Balcon is a very cool little hotel that oozes style as soon as you walk in. During the week it seems to be inhabited mostly by people on business, but I can imagine it's popular with couples at the week end. Check-in and out was dealt with very smoothly by friendly staff with an excellent standard of English....
